Uncomfortable, dangerous and scammed avoid, avoid, avoid!!!!

The property was very basic. Ensure you take extras with you as there is no kettle, toaster, oven. No linen or towels. The living space is extremely small and no space to relax. There is nothing to welcome you to the property it’s empty of anything. No welcome pack with some basics. Make sure you have all essentials with you as there is basically nothing to welcome or help you. The hot water is very suspect. We had young children with us & the shower is awful. The water is either freezing cold or goes to scolding hot. It was to dangerous to use so we had no shower for the duration of our stay & used the shower at the swimming pool. There was no hot water for washing up so had to boil water in a kettle that we luckily brought.

I paid my fee for the property in good faith and just before arrival I was asked to pay a safety deposit of €250? I was dubious at the time but paid the fee nonetheless. A company called Swikly contacted me & for a fee advised they would protect the deposit & provide insurance if Le Walric claimed anything. Please avoid! Le Walric claimed €100 and Swikly said they could do nothing so pointless paying the fee. Despite constant emails to both Le Walric & Swikly asking for my fees & deposit returned I was given no apology or answers to my concerns. At no point prior to arrival or check in was I advised of the terms of the deposit. There is a small sentence at the bottom of the page of the introduction letter advising of a possible cleaning fee which is easily missed. Be careful because le Walric took €100 for a cleaning fee? The property was very small and we left the property as best we could removing rubbish, taking all linen & towels home, cleaning surfaces and utensils without hot water and cleaning products and tools is a big challenge. There is no mop & bucket for example, broom, dustpan & brush, there is nothing! So ensure you take plenty of cleaning tools & things with you otherwise money will be taken. I feel as though I have been scammed and the deposit is purely a way for them to make extra money. I feel that it is unfair that you have no way of a come back on the fees & charges. It is wrong that Swikly release your deposit without any discussion of agreement. It is not acceptable that le Walric can decide to take a substantial amount without advising you why they have done so. I would avoid bigtime. The apartment is very basic and not comfortable you have to bring so much with you and the deposit just a money making scheme. I should have stayed with air BnB you always get a good welcome, comfortable accommodation and a cleaning fee upfront with no hidden costs and hot water!!!!

Comfortable clean bungalow in great location

Bungalow was at the back of a very quiet campsite. Lovely outside space for sitting and parking. Easy walk into town and to the beach. It was simply furnished and well equipped with big fridge, good freezer and enough things to do lots of cooking, even an oyster shuck! Clean, comfortable bed, easy check in, site very well maintained. Would definitely return.

It may have been in the info before booking that you had to bring bedding, towels, tea towels - but if it was, I missed it. Didn't matter for us as we got a message via booking.com and we were coming from home but if we'd been travelling in France in hotels we wouldn't have had stuff with us and could have booked a non refundable room! Main email with info about what we needed only arrived on our last day 😂 Shower needs a bit of adjustment!

A lovely, clean, well maintained campsite within walking distance of the local town, which means one can leave their car

A nice mobile home which we could park our car next to which made loading and unloading really easy. Sits facilities were really clean the staff were very friendly and helpful.

I overlooked that the bed linen was to be purchased from reception. The linen is disposable which did affect the comfort. If allowed, I would recommend bringing your own bed sheets. Personally, I would rather pay a little extra for my stay and have reusable bed linen provided by and cleaned by the the campsite. Also, more substantial and comfortable pillows.

We had to drive past the bins at the far end of the site every time. Thankfully we were at the other end of the road (12s). The plastic sofa was uncomfortable. Square pillows were difficult as we have rectangular pillows in UK so do not have square covers. No kettle.

Excellent place, fantastic staff.

We forgot adapter plugs and the staff had ones to hand. Also we were massively delayed by the channel tunnel but the staff had left the cabin open for us. You can order fresh bread every morning.

Considerate welcome at check-in. Quiet and peaceful location. Relaxing.Ease of parking. In walking distance of the Fisherman’s Chapel and centre. We appreciated the evening concert given by the resident blackbird whilst we had a well-earned aperitif!

Pour le calme c'est raté ! Rangée de mobilomes louée à une société! Tente montée par ceux-ci et soirée jusque 4h35 du matin!!! Musique , saoulard ...Bref nuit blanche. Grrrrr!

Fijn alles voor jezelf bij leuk stadje.

Het is een stacaravan op deze camping, dus je hebt alles voor jezelf.

Voor deze deal was een straatje caravans gereserveerd dat ver van de ingang lag. Overal lege caravans/huisjes, maar toch ver de camping op. Wij stonden pal naast een onderhoudshuisje waar dag en nacht geluid uit kwam. Het zwembad ging pas om 10 uur open, te laat voor een vroege opfrisser.

De camping was verzorgd Een mooi zwembad en goede voorzieningen.

De caravan was schoon. De keuken, koelkast en douche werkten goed. Bedden waren prima. De caravan zelf was vergane glorie. Oud, beschadigde vloer en douchevloer. Scheur in een gordijn De banken waren ongeschikt om op te zitten.

Beau camping avec mobile home à 15min à pied de Saint-Valery

Camping avec emplacements nus et mobile home. À environ 15min à pied du centre-ville de Saint-Valery. Pensez à amener vos draps car ils ne sont pas fournis. Possibilité d'en acheter des jetables à l'accueil (12€ pour lit simple et 16€ pour lit double). Mobile home très propre à notre arrivée. Tous les équipements nécessaires sont présents. Les lits sont confortables. Possibilité de réserver du pains et des viennoiseries au bar la veille pour le lendemain et petite épicerie au bar au cas où. Présence d'une piscine chauffée et couverte.

Les rideaux devant les fenêtres des chambres ne valent pas des volets ou un store. Les radiateurs sont des grilles pain et ne chauffent donc pas très efficacement. Lorsqu'il pleut, de l'eau coule au dessus de l'évier depuis une sortie de toiture. Apparemment un problème connu et présent dans tous les mobiles home. La seule chose vraiment embêtante était le fait que l'eau de la douche était soit brûlante soit glacée et ne reste jamais à une température tempérée. Le plus embêtant
