Great location only 5 mins walk to Alnwick town centre. Room was comfortable and clean ( a little dated but it added to the charm of the property ). Staff very pleasant and helpful, Anne was a great host and breakfast was really good. Plenty of off road parking at rear of the property. On the whole couldn't fault our stay & would stay again in the future.

Aydon House is not a boutique hotel and is old fashioned and dated. Having said that, our room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very filling. Parking is good, Lidl is next door and its a 3 minute walk to Barter Books and a 10-15 minute walk to the entrance to both the Castle and the Gardens. Would definitely stay here again.
Temperamental shower (Room 5), shared fridge on the landing.

Massive room with views out the front. Ample parking. Fantastic location with Alnwick town and castle in easy walking distance. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. Room cleaned daily.
The accommodation is a bit dated and bathroom quite small. Hairdryer not working properly.
