Excellent location – the Vatican is just a 25 min walk away, and the metro station is only 5 min from the property. There’s a supermarket right in the same building, which is very convenient. The area also offers plenty of coffee shops where you can enjoy a true Italian breakfast experience.
The accommodation itself is quite basic – it covers the essentials but nothing more. The beds are average. In the bathroom, the bathtub drain was clogged, and I would have appreciated at least some basic toiletries. The kitchen equipment is minimal; for example, there were no wine glasses. A clean dish sponge in the kitchen would also have been appreciated.
The elevator was repeatedly out of service – we had to take the stairs up to the 6th floor on 3 out of 4 days, which was quite inconvenient.
