Location.

We stayed for one night. The room was a bit shabby. Very dissatisfied with the behavior of the operators. The price was not final. We sent the payment in advance, then no one responded to our questions, and upon arrival they wanted separate payment for towels, bed linen, and cleaning (60 euros). The booking stated that it was possible to purchase additional bed linen, towels, and cleaning services during our stay, but please note that these are mandatory. I don't understand why this isn't included in the price of the accommodation if we have to pay for it (and only in cash). Ms. Natasha, who communicated with us before we sent the payment, promised to reserve a parking space. Fortunately, a man on the street advised us. We wanted to talk to someone responsible for the accommodation (Ms. Natasha did not respond to messages), but we were told that there was no such person and that if we did not pay the balance, we would not be given the keys. She refused to refund the payment and even yelled at us. A terrible experience, never again. It's a shame, because the apartment is in a nice location and Cassis is a beautiful port city. If we return, we will never stay at this accommodation again. We travel a lot, but this has never happened to us before.

Great location - terrible customer service.

The view from the balcony was incredible right in the heart of downtown.

The lady at the front desk when checking in was terrible in communicating with us and another couple before us. I understand she was new, but if she could say she didn’t know the answer that would be better than the negative attitude she gave us upon arrival. It left us really stressed after our interaction about payment and retrieving cash the following day. When we could pay electronically. She should not be in customer service or needs better training in how to talk to customers.

Frustrating to access, lovely view but expensive

This is a well located apartment right in the port area with a lovely view and a deck (with dead plants). While not perfectly fitted out for overseas visitors it is certainly comfortable. The toilet wasn't smelly which others had commented on so that was good.

The advert text for this property really needs to say the following: - car parking is difficult and while we have an expensive car parking location this is some 600-800metres away from the accomodation and also involves a walk downhill with your bags. - taxi's can't drop you at the door and there is no option for getting close to the apartment to drop off bags - the apartment is accessed via a narrow staircase of 54 steps so you must be able to carry your bags as no lift - if you want bed linen either bring it yourself (as if you are going to seriously) or pay the additional linen cost - the bed does have a slight lean so you feel that you are rolling out from the seaward side - dead plants on the deck - the fridge is on a different level to the main apartment You will see from other reviews that these extra costs of linen (Euro 20 for our 2 day stay), City tax of Euro 10 and car parking of Euro 36 for our two day stay resulted in an additional cost of Euro 66 for a two night stay. The apartment while pleasant and very well located is already a high cost option and these extra costs really just make it very expensive for what it is. The text about the apartment does mention these extra costs but it is not appropriate to operate in this way in my view. City tax likely does have to be a separate charge to be fair. The car parking was so narrow that if you parked your car it was very likely you could be blocked in. We had a flight to catch so were really nervous, see my photo of another car parked and you can see if you were parked on the other side there would be no way of getting out. Sadly the owner/property manager seems to not be willing to simply provide a total cost of the apartment when booking and ignores the feedback provided to date so hope this review is useful to others.

Awesome ocean view place to stay in Cassis

The floor-to-ceiling windows and good-sized terrace with stunning ocean views over the port was the standout feature. Plus being located right at the waterfront promenade amongst the restaurants. The air conditioning worked well. Natasha helped us move our luggage from the taxi drop off point to the apartment.

The bed felt like it had a slight slant towards the outside edge. The room and shower was clean but the shower drain was clogged with hairs so water didn’t drain until I cleared the hairs. The taxi couldn’t drop or pick us up right at the location. We had to go 300 m with our luggage upon arrival and up 50 steps with luggage for pick up. A luggage trolley might help or info about road opening hours closer to the apartment as early morning the looked open.

The property manager was awesome to work with! she got us in earlier than originally planned which helped us have a place for our luggage instead of leaving it in the car.

I think it was over priced. We stayed in 4 different places in France and this was by far the most expensive. Adding to the cost there was $65 in additional fees we didn't know about until 2 days before checking in.

We only liked the location

We were extra charged for the bed linen, for the towels, for the cleaning. Shouldn’t it be included into the room cost ? We booked the apartment with “parking” and the “balcony”. No parking, no balcony. Why the property owner didn’t draw attention to those weird “extras”? I am a frequent traveler. I have never been charged for the things like “bed linen or towels” . ALL THESE EXTRAS MUST be seen IMMEDIATELY, while booking, not after you have made your booking, and the property gets access to your bank card. I am feeling annoyed and cheated . For all potential visitors : Firstly , FIND OUT your final cost otherwise you risk to be ripped off. For a one -night stay we had to pay 315 euros instead of 250 expected. To say nothing of the city parking which is pretty costly in Cassis . For that money , we didn’t even have a couple of coffee capsules in the morning. On the whole : very disappointing experience!

Very central location and noise from the restaurant underneath is bearable and stops at midnight. Very good WiFi. Very comfortable beds. Garage is a bit of a walk away but certainly the better option than public parking which is always full (at least in August ;-))

Nous etions à coté du port meme si l entree de l appartement se situait dans une rue derrière. La vue de la terrasse est jolie mais il faut rester debout pour pouvoir l apprécier

J ai payé une prestation pour un appartement de 45m2 et j ai eu un studio d à peine 20m2. On m a demandé de payer 65€ en plus pour le linge de lit et les serviettes- EN ENSPECES SVP pour du linge avec des taches!!!! Le canape « lit » pour ma fille etait sale et vraiment pas confortable (coussin en mousse qui fait office de matelas!) La baie vitrée ne se ferme plus. Aucune sécurité dans l appartement puisque on pouvait ouvrir la fenêtre depuis la terrasse. Des remontées d egout sont présents dans l appartement, ce qui doit être connus puisque du Febreze est à disposition sous l evier….le materiel est vetuste (tete de lit abimée/sale, table abimée/rayee,…) Je ne conseille pas ce logement

Très jolie chambre bien équipée, excellente localisation sur le port avec une vue magnifique et un balcon . Calme malgré les commerces en dessous .

Le personnel d accueil est très avare d explications pour se rendre à la chambre , un peu difficile à trouver . Explications succinctes malgré la complexité pour se rendre au garage situé à 500 m de la chambre . On sent à accueil que vous devezvous débrouiller seule sinon tant pis .
