We loved the proximity to the woods - we saw lots of wonderful wildlife. The cottage was really comfortable and had everything we needed. We slept well. Great base for exploring the Forest of Dean and its delights.
The cottage is on the road between Parkend & Coleford, so there is some fast traffic at certain times of day. The mattresses (but that could just be my preference for a firmer mattress).

Property was very clean and modern, with everything we needed. Gorgeous location
Only one thing really - more info/better info in the welcome folder on walks - the cottage is right in the woods but only one little paragraph about walking in it, would have loved more resources on it.

nothing really stood out to me to make me think wow, it was average.
dog poo in the garden which we had to get up very hard towels poor lighting in the garden when walking out at night Only able to watch BBC channels unless you can sign into your own Netflix, Disney account but DVDs available
