Amazing location and great communication with the host. We were allowed to leave our luggage in the storage (open cabinet with no lock) for a couple of hours after our stay and we really appreciated that.

The apartment is missing dish soap and coffee. We have stayed for 2 nights, and used some dishes, however we were unable to do the dishes as there is no soap. It is not nice to think guests need to buy it on their own because we’d only use a tiny bit of it and would have to leave the rest for the host. Same thing goes for coffee, where there is a dolce gusto coffee machine but no coffee. So you have to buy a whole pack of 16 capsules just to maybe drink a couple of them and leave the rest for the host (that is what we did at the end). It would be nice to have at least a couple of capsules for guests, it would elevate the experience.

The apartment was easy to find…off the plane, on to the metro and then a ten minute walk. It couldn’t have been any better situated with regard to restaurants, bars and sightseeing. We were spoiled for choice when it came to choosing somewhere to eat at night. Luis was a perfect host….we had a couple of problems with the WiFi and lack of a kettle, but he responded quickly to our messages and dealt with the problems straight away.

The lack of a lift was a pain, but we knew we were going to have to walk up to the third floor beforehand so it wasn’t that bad.

The beds were comfortable. The balcony was great.

3 flights of stairs. No brush and pan. No WiFi.

The location

The location was not clean and there was also no broom available to tidy it up. Also know that this location is above bars and restaurants and the garbage bins are emptied frequently early in the morning. We left to go somewhere else because of the noice from guests and the garbage trucks
