Very central so easy to get to everywhere. Immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. Joana was amazing and helped us with everything we needed…. Would definitely return

Nothing not to like

The location was great for getting to everywhere we wanted to go despite the construction going on directly across from us. Porto is putting in a new Metro line and there was constant construction noise (didn’t really bother us) and detours for walkers and drivers. The square, however, was so full of interesting people and entertainment in the evenings. We weren’t inside much during the day. Joana gave us wonderful recommendations for locally owned restaurants and we ate 4 meals in them.

The kitchen could use a broom and dustpan and more than one kitchen hand towel (we actually cook). The climate isn’t conducive to overnight drying of bath towels, and they should be replaced more often. I really like when the host has a book of instructions on how to operate appliances, info about the bus and metro, and some recommendations for activities or sites to visit. Lack of these things took nothing away from our enjoyment of Porto; it’s just that little things can make a big difference in the experience of a visitor.

Location was excellent. Walking distance to all the major attractions

Towels were a bit threadbare and shower could have been a bit cleaner but the size of the apartment more than made up for it
