Locally Yours Oporto Apartments

The location was absolutely excellent, right in the heart of everything. There was an urban market right next door, with plenty of great restaurants, cafés, and little gift shops all within walking distance. The famous São Bento train station was directly opposite the apartment, providing a beautiful view, especially in the evenings when it was lit up. Joana was an incredible host—she was very friendly, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed. After learning about our interests, she even took the time to send us personalised recommendations on WhatsApp, which really enhanced our stay.

The rooms were very spacious, but the beds could have been a little more comfortable as they felt quite firm. The apartment is on the top floor, which offers fantastic views, but there is no lift, so there are several flights of stairs to climb. This can be quite challenging, especially when carrying luggage.

Location was perfect. Plenty of restaurants, pastry shops, and a supermarket nearby, not to mention easily within walking distance of all the popular attractions that Porto has to offer. The view from the balcony was amazing, especially during the Festa de São João. Our host was amazing and helpful, including details on how to enjoy the city. The space was great for our family of 4. Everyone had plenty of room. I would definitely recommend and will stay here again if we make our way back to Porto.
