A little gem.

Very clean, very convenient for the port. Lovely restaurant on site. Suited our needs perfectly.

Tried to contact the hotel about dropping off luggage because we were early but no response from them. Lovely restaurant on site but breakfast served in another hotel in the square. We were informed of this before we arrived but if it’s pouring with rain not a good idea.

Breakfast 500m away in another hotel. Train tracks just outside the window. Trains from 6am till 10pm.

Considering there is a restaurant on site, I can't understand why breakfast is not served there. However, the breakfast at Hotel Amerika was very good.

Wrong night for ferry panic booking of hotel for night

This was an emergency stay , some confusion caused with regard to breakfast being taken at a different hotel.eventually issue solved. Nice large room

Due to this being a very last, panic booking, language difficulties resulted in being sent to sister Hotel to be sent back to original hotel. The reason being the sister hotel is the one who provides your breakfasts

A nice stay

As EV 15 cyclists to the Hoek van Holland, the location was superb. Nice breakfast at the sister hotel America

unfortunately, we wanted to eat dinner at the restaurant there- having cycled through 80 km winds all day-but they told us upon arrival that there was a preplanned function.

You had to walk down the road for breakfast but it wasn't fay and the meal was very good. Some people might not like the trains passing the window. They didn't trouble us.

Overnight at the Hoek on route to UK

We annually visit family in the UK at this time. We use the Stena Ferry from the Hoek, So this venue is ideal for that purpose. Accommodation is good and price about average for here. Clean, comfortable, with everything needed, and a restaurant on site. Plenty of parking on site.

It is clear that the Original Restaurant must have provided the land to build the hotel . They are completely separate businesses, and the reception in the restaurant area just takes the payment and issues the key. This might be an issue if there was any problem, although we have used them for a number of years and had no problem yet. Breakfast is not provided , but there is an arrangement with a hotel in the town to offer this. It is a short walk away. It is OK for us, but might not suit everyone.

Squeaking metal experience

Beds are comfortable, room is nicely decorated. Coffee and tea in the room.

The room is literally next to the tram/metro line, which runs until 1am and starts at 6am. The noise of the squeaking breaking metal kept us up and woke us up, despite the lovely earplugs freely provided. For a room priced over 100€ without breakfast, I don't think it's good value for money. I would definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND staying at this place. We stayed 2 nights unfortunately. Other (little) annoying things: no electricity contacts in the bathroom at all (couldn't use my hair dryer), small fridge that did not cool (it was on, and on maximum - couldn't get your drinks cold), low water pressure in the shower, extremely sensitive thermostat.

Went for a motorcycle trip to visit The Netherlands and stayed in a hotel as it’s in a brilliant location from the Ferry

Very lovely staff very clean room 100% recommend it brilliant location 5 mins from Ferry. One of the cleanest hotels so far! Brilliant time spent well worth it! There is a Kebab shop Shoarma & Pizzeria Sabra abut 10 minutes walk amazing kebabs and pizzas there must try! People are so friendly very nice and kind. Well worth the staying and very happy with the hotel.

The train track is next to the room so the trams passing by till 12pm ish so quite loud every time it passes. No trams at night so can sleep well.

Handy and worth it.

It was comfy. next to the railway line - but surprisingly, the noise wasn't disturbing. They must be going slow near the terminus. Very near the port and not far from the town. The restaurant was fine too.

Secure storage of bikes overnight after a long ride was reassuring. Breakfast is good and easy to get to at the property in town (short walk). Room facilities comfortable.

A convenient stay by the Rotterdam harbour

We loved the location (Hoek van Holland is in-between Rotterdam and The Hague); beds were comfortable; gratis and easily accessible parking; offered water, coffee, tea, plus, syrup waffles ('stroopwafels') in the room.

There was no promised wine or champagne (as per booking description for Geniuses); the hotel is located right next to the trainline thus one should be ready to be woken up as from 7 AM. Stairs leading to the 1st floor are a bit tricky and could be dangerous.

Lovely room and bathroom clean and modern. The restaurant served an excellent dinner. Staff very friendly.

The room backs onto the railway station so can be quite noisy until train stops at night. Having to have our breakfast at another hotel.

Perfect stay!

The rooms are spacious and the beds are separated also the duvets are separate which is very nice. There were plenty of extra pillows. Wide choice of television channels with Netflix as a bonus. Everywhere enough sockets and the possibility to ventilate with either air conditioning or an open window. Handy was the small refrigerator. Coffee (Nespresso) and tea facilities were fine. In-room safe also convenient. Shower and bathroom fine with enough space to put your things down. The dispensers in the bathroom are convenient and better for the environment. Parking is free at the hotel. Quiet location and perfect if you want to get to England by boat early. There is a traintrack nearby I don't mind but it could be a dealbreaker for someone else.

The plastic cups in the bathroom should be replaced with glasses or cups, better for the environment. A folder with information about the surroundings would also be useful. And finally 2 cups of Nespresso is a bit frugal.

Very nice room and bathroom. Clean. Great location, hotel is next to the ferry and the station. 25 minutes walking to the beach. friendly and helpful stuff.
