The position is great and convenient for everything.

The single rooms are very plain and I could not find the light to the shared shower. The bed is clean, but the whole place needs updating and the carpet is dubious. No bedside light. Curtain I’ll-fitting no coming off the hooks.

Noisy place

The location is good. The staff were very courteous and friendly.

It's and old hotel which hasn't been renovated in decades. There is zero noise insulation, I could hear my neighbors talking on their phones and every footstep. Walls seem to be made out of cardboard. Very little sleep to be had, four to five hours a night.

Absolutely satisfied with the accommodation. Good value for money

Very spacious room for a family with 5 persons. Almost all conveniences we needed. Free parking. Easy check-in/out. In the very center

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The rooms are very dated. The chairs within the rooms are damaged, and the carpets are marked and damaged. Even though the room was clean, it didn't feel it because of the outdated decor and furnishings. Sharing bathrooms isn't acceptable when you're paying £90+ for rooms.

We’re able to accommodate at very late notice. Great to have parking and breakfast in the price. Staff were very helpful and positive. Loved the mix of architecture including 16th century stone spiral staircase.

The woman who checked us in was lovely, friendly and welcoming. The hotel has a nice, old historic feel, and lovely breakfast buffet and coffee/tea in the mornings. The location was perfect for walking around and exploring this small town, rich with history.

Older building with a charming Dutch small town ambience. Getting to the room involved staircases and finding the right corridor. Reception, bar staff and other guests were all friendly. Handy car park at rear of hotel.

As an English man I found the breakfast at €15 Euros rather underwhelming.

A disappointing hotel in a beautiful town.

Location and parking. The only reason you would stay here is to visit lovely Briele. The room was spacious and had good armchairs.

Check in was impersonal and unwelcoming. Carpets were threadbare and had holes in them. The wind blew leaflets over and no-one picked them up, despite being within sight of reception. A typical chain hotel that goes through the motions. They are cashing in on their location and offering nothing of quality.

Exceptional

Great atmosphere. Loved the staff. I would love to go back. It was my first visit to Holland, and I was very impressed. That was all thanks to the reception at the hotel. Especially at the bar in the evening, and at breakfast, whilst having a coffee. Best Wishes Chris

Nice staff, well located, smelled like a bar in the 1980s

The location was truly excellent

The room smelled heavily of smoke (even though we were asked to sign a document agreeing it was a non smoking room at check in) and was over heated

I think it is about to change the carpet in the hotel rooms it is absolutely disgusting looking. Stained and dirty. Everything else is noce ans staff ks great. But how hard is it to change the carpets. It will make all the difference.

room was too small and too out dated for the price paid. I don't mind to use a common bathroom, but this was more like a common bathcloset

they should really change the carpets in the rooms as it is extremely worn out with a lot of stains that gives the impression that it ia dirty

Arrived at 1430, check in was 1500. I was told come back at 3pm then come back at 4pm. I was finally checked in at 1630.
