The welcome, hospitality, location, facilities, cleanliness, quietness, tranqiility, view and the sound of the little mountain stream outside the window.. The photos are a true reflection. The owner collected me from the train and provided useful intormation explained bus routes etc. Nearest stop and mini market within 150m. Madonna del Sasso and Gondola Station a short walk away. I would highly recommend.

Having to move out. I needed to extend my stay at short notice but unfortunately it was not available.

The apartment was very clean and fully self contained. The view was to die for and public transport was easy accessible. The host even picked us up from the bus stop.House was uphill 100 metres, but drove us up with our luggage.

Astonishing Locarno Stay

The host is super. The house was real house, not a cheap made B&B house for rent. I respect the works they put in the house. The view was spectacular. The location is just wonderful in a small town above Locarno. They have parks, and a grocery store where they sell fresh pastry. There are cafes and reasonable restaurants in the area, too. Our kids went crazy using buses and cable cars to go back and forth between the Locarno city centre and the lake. Thank you!

Great, lavish stay with an affordable rate!

the location is on top of the hill overlooking the lake Maggiore. The host, Ms Franceschini and her husband are very accommodating and have done their best to help out especially when we have issues with our universal adaptor. They also allow us to washing machine and dryer for free!

Out of courtesy, perhaps host can remind guest to clear the payment for city tax, sometimes we are in rush so might overlook about the obligation. However the stay was very wonderful for me and my family.

Fabulous views of Lake Maggiore from this apartment

Met at the property by the lovely owners who live downstairs. They were really helpful and allowed us the use of their washing, drying and ironing room in the basement. They made us feel very welcome during our stay . Apartment is bright and spacious with the most amazing balcony overlooking Lake Maggiore below. Little grocery shop close by opposite the church for essentials .

Wouldn’t be suitable for people with mobility issues. We were on public transport and had 30 or so steps downhill to the local bus number 3 into Locarno centre. It is possible to walk into the centre but about 20 minutes of steep steps down the hillside. The fabulous views make up for it !

We had a fabulous time at Casa Franceschini. Unfortunately it was raining cats and dogs during one day of our stay but there was a big selection of board games to keep our children entertained. The apartment is spacious and very well equipped with a fantastic view on the lake. We will definitely return one day.

Zeer geschikt voor mensen die van uitzicht houden.

Het grote pluspunt van dit appartement is het geweldige uitzicht. Het beneden appartement heeft een zeer ruim terras met uitstekende stoelen. Er is een eigen parkeerplek. Er is een buurtwinkel en een bushalte op 2 minuten lopen. De gastvrouw woont boven het appartement (je hoort haar niet), is goed bereikbaar en zeer behulpzaam.

Het terras is op het zuid-oosten. Begin oktober verdwijnt de zon om 13.00 achter het huis ernaast. Er zijn trappen vanaf de parkeerplek naar de voordeur van het huis en daarna nog trappen omlaag naar het appartement beneden.

Perfect stay!

Ein toller und entspannter Aufenthalt! Die Vermieterin war sehr nett, wir wurden sogar vom Bahnhof abgeholt! Das Apartment hat wirklich Alles, was es auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt braucht. Sehr viel Kaffee- und Teezubehör, was ich besonders angenehm fand. Die Aussicht von der sehr geräumigen Terrasse war wirklich atemberaubend. Es lohnt sich durchaus, etwa mehr Zeit dort zu verbringen…Die Lage ist ruhig, wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. Es fahren regelmäßig Busse ins Stadtzentrum; die Station befindet sich 2 Gehminuten von der Unterkunft. Noch zu erwähnen ist das ausgezeichnete Preis- Leistungsverhältnis; es war die günstigste Unterkunft, die wir in dieser Gegend finden konnten. Es gab dennoch nichts zu bemängeln!

Hervorragend ausgestattetes Appartement mit einem fantastischen Blick auf den See!

Fantastischer Blick vom Balkon aus auf den Lago Maggiore. Küche ist extrem gut ausgestattet, man hat wirklich alles, was man benötigen könnte. Sehr ruhige Lage. Direkt am Haus plätschert ein kleiner Wasserfall, sorgt für schöne Stimmung und übertönte auch mal sehr angenehm Live-Musik, die am Wochenende abends aus Locarno nach oben schallte.

Siamo rimasti molto soddisfati! La casa è bellissima e spaziosa con una vista mozzafiato. Completa di tutte le necessità e anche di più! La permanenza è stata un vero relax per tutta la nostra famiglia. La posizione è comoda perché a pochi metri c’è la fermata del autobus e piccolo supermercato. La sig.ra Franceschini è una persona adorabile e disponibile. Ci ha andato incontro nonostante alcune difficoltà con il nostro arrivo e le sono grata. Consiglio vivamente! 👍🏻
