Great location, spacious accommodation. Very close to the lake and restaurants which was very convenient in the evening. No parking place onsite but parking available within 300m.

Great for Ascona Old Town

Loved our reception by host Pepe and his wife. They looked after us so well. A large comfortable room but without a view, a little way up a lane leading to the waterfront. Great central location in a really m interesting town.

Giuseppe and Rita were such hospitable hosts! They made us feel like family!

The hotel is steps away from the lakeside promenade. It is in a pedestrian zone which made getting our car to the hotel a bit tricky. The owner personally escorted us through the whole process. Breakfast was delicious especially the coffee!

Wonderful stay in Ascona!

I would definitely stay here again! + Big room (stayed in apartment) with fridge and free espresso + Very friendly and attentive staff, you can tell they really love their guests + Great breakfast + Great location

It is close to town so you can hear people at night, but the windows blocked out most of the noise. We were also here during a less busy time so it was quiet by 10:00pm.

A place deserved to stay again

I chose Garni Golf becoz of its high rate before I aeeive in Ascona. The moment when the owner showed me the apt I was still surprised by its well arrangement, cleaness and comfy. I asked for a sofa bed and kid cot and they are all well organized when I entered the room (I feel like they read my mind). The owner couple Giuseppe and Rita are very much helpful and patient. They solved our problem of parking, and offered lots of clean towels the next days for our personal use. We got the tallest floor apt and need to climb up the stairs,but what can you complain, when it offers a nice high lane view for you to enjoy the lago maggiore new year firework.

The first night in the room I could smell of strong pasta cooking aroma in the air. and the next day my mom cooked chicken,although we already opened window for a while, I still slept with the smell of it... I'm assuming the wood construction of the roof is causing the slow ventilation. I suggest to do some air purification in advance next time or provide scented candles on the table just in case.

Top Unterkunft, gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis mitten in Ascona!

Das Bett ist super gross und super bequem. Die Lage ist super, 30m von der Promenade entfernt. Der Balkon ist süss, leider hat darauf kein Tischchen Platz. Das Personal ist sehr nett: Wir wurden nett begrüsst, es wurde uns alles gezeigt, es wurde uns bereit vor der Anreise (2h vor Ankunft) von der Unterkunft mitgeteilt - ohne Anfrage - dass das Zimmer bereit ist. Die Lage ist top! Obwohl es an der touristischen Promenade liegt ist es sehr ruhig.

Das Badezimmer ist etwas alt. Die Duschstange füllt beinahe ab. Aber das ist sehr hohe Kritik! Die Kirche ist neben der Unterkunft. Man hört diese, wenn man leichten Schlaf hat und bei offenem Fenster. Aber auch hier: Motzen auf hohem Niveau. Ich weiss nicht, ob es Parkmöglichkeiten gäbe - jedenfalls nicht direkt beim Hotel (Altstadt). Anreise per öV empfohlen.

Der sehr herzliche Empfang der Gastgeber👍Die Lage, die Sauberkeit, grosszügige Ferienwohnung auf 2 Ebenen inkl. grosser Küche, Kühlschrank + TK Schubladen, super leckeres und vielseitiges Frühstücksbuffet👍

In der Duschkabine fehlte uns eine Ablage für Shampoo Flaschen abzustellen und es gibt im Badezimmer keine Lüftung ( auch zum Dampfabzug nach dem Duschen zB) Im Zimmer mit Sicht zum See gab es keine Nachttischleuchten ( wenn man im Bett lesen möchte) es gab nur 1 helle Deckenleuchte und zwischen Schlafzimmer 1 ( Doppelbett) und Schlafzimmer 2 müsste eine Türe oder Schiebetüre sein . Es war alles offen. Keine Privatsphäre. Und der Glockenschlag vom Campanile draussen haut einem fast aus dem Bett.. dafür kann der Vermieter aber nichts.

Man kommt an und ist zuhause 🙂

Das Appartement liegt sehr zentral u ist recht groß. Alles ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Die Klimaanlage funktioniert sehr gut. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, die viele Tipps gegeben haben. Der Hund war sehr willkommen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Die Küche ist etwas dürftig ausgestattet. Der Parkplatz ist ein ganzes Stück entfernt, der Ortskern ist Fußgängerzone.

Eine schönes Hotel und ein überaus herzliches sympathisches Team.

Das Zimmer war sehr schön, gross und geschmackvoll. Das Hotel ist mitten im Herzen von Ascona gelegen und trotzdem ruhig zum Schlafen. Wir fühlten uns vom ganzen Team herzlich empfangen und fürsorglich betreut.

Es gibt keinen negativ Punkt.
