Brilliant apartment on a main street in Malaga but very quiet. Roof terrace is lovely and a real bonus. Highly recommend.

Located conveniently between train station and Centro. Good rooftop terrace and well equipped kitchen.
1. Building ground floor power failed on Saturday and still out when we exited on Sunday. Backup key for front door worked and elevator and our floor power working ok. But if you were trying to check in out of hours using door electric lock key code you would be stuck outside & calling remote support for help.
2. Circular staircase to great rooftop terrace has minimal bannister protection. Not recommended if you had little kids. A couple of the steps did not feel as stable and secure as we expected.
3. Sofa is not a fold out bed, the sofa seat and back just fold down flat, with a small dip in the middle. Very firm sofa, not enjoyed by guest.
4. Bathroom toilet base was insecure / a bit wobbly & needs some maintenance.

The location, ease of access and facilities were all fine. The availability of a lift and luggage storage lockers were certainly a bonus.
There was a perceptible smell in the apartment, particularly the bathroom where there was an electric air freshner. I've travelled to many parts of Spain over the last four decades and it's a smell I generally associate with drainage. It was not an overpowering smell and it's didn't impact our enjoyment of the apartment, we just put it down to the apartment being in an old building.

It has central location, near all atractions and metro to the airport. It's enough for 3 persons. It's clean.
We stayed in this apartment one year ago and we were happy with it. Unfortunatelly this stay was very dissapointing. The fridge and microvawe weren't working and there was no power in the kitchen sockets. After two days we didn't have hot water. We informed the landlord about it but nothing was done. We didn' get any response. For the money we payed the most basic amedities should have been provided.
