Perfect for a stopover from calais

Stayed here after a late ferry to Calais. It was perfect for what we needed easy to find, super comfortable beds and near shops for groceries.

It's very soulless and the room itself is very basic and a bit like a cell, I wouldn't stay here for a longer period but as a one night stop over it ticked every box. A great night's sleep which was exactly what we wanted!

OK for an overnight, budget price for budget stay

Location good for road and city links if you dont mind the constant traffic noise. Budget price with complimentary parking.. Short walk to supermarket, boulangerie and easy walk to the city.

Uncomfortable bed and pillow, duvet too thick and heavy for summer temperatures. Avoid rooms overlooking the car park and above reception entrance as very noisy with late arrivals, early leavers, and noisy people having conversations outside.

A good choice as a stopover hotel.

The hotel was fairly new, clean, comfortable and good value for money, Breakfast was good. There was a good little supermarket close by for provisions if you needed them.

Although you could see the hotel from the main road, it wasn't obvious at first how to access it from the roundabout so better signage from the roundabout would help. Although it's a relatively short walk into Arras old town, the various building and road works on the way made it a little awkward. Once they are complete I'm sure it will be fine.

For one night, but no more

Quite a little space in the room, but there was a table, a chair and a small wardrobe. Pets allowed, family room with 4 beds, free parking. A/c

The toilet lid was broken off, the toilet seat was not fixed. The shower wasn't clean enough. There was only one soap dispenser in the bathroom (in the shower stall), but it also broke after several uses. There were only 2 bath towels (for 4 people), but after our request, we received additional towels. The breakfast was very simple, minimal choice. It was noisy outside, so I had to close the window.

Seamless service for tired travellers needing some home comforts & a trouble free overnight stay.

Well lit parking at front of hotel in eye of diligent & helpful 24hr reception. Keycard entry to the hotel 'after hours'.Although there was no tea/coffee in room, or restaurant service, there was excellent vending and seating with coffee tables in the reception area with assistance from reception. You could buy a toothbrush, toothpaste & soap if you had forgotten to pack. I had an excellent 'emergency' Piquard salmon pasta readymeal heated up with the microwave & a liptons tea at 1am, or you could heat up your own food. The room was very basic, but very clean & also quiet with good blackout. The breakfast was fine, but if you only wanted a coffee & a pastry, there is an excellent bakery coffee shop next door. The hotel was near the centre of Arras, but we decided to drive in and park in the main square, due to dreadful weather & not knowing the city. It was quite easy to find & easy to get back to the motorway to Reims to continue our journey down south.

It was 20 minutes walk to town centre in the pouring rain. We and the dog got soaked. The staff enquired about taxis but they said the taxi would not come for such a short journey, even in the rain. Also they would not take a dog in a taxi. Got soaked walking back too.

A surprisingly good stay here in Arras. Given the low price point we didn't expect very much but it was clean, comfortable and quiet and the reception staff were very friendly. Easy to walk into central Arras and also easy to drive out to Calais or into central France.

Good location for a few days stay. Close to city center for a night out, a few supermarkets very close by. This is the 3rd time we stayed here, we will be using again. Very clean hotel.

Functional, very much like motel, but would stay again if cheap

Good size room, reception area had vending if needed 10-15 min walk from town centre, train station. Under 10mins walk from 3 supermarkets.

unfortunately due to language barrier, it was merely impossible to get me the right direction from main roundabout even though I was round the corner. I will say there are few roundabouts quite close to property. As previous reviewer mentioned, property would benefit from much larger sign on roundabout, and 1 on main road. No hand wash which I thought was a given regardless of bring your own toiletries - I later realised there was one in shower which was empty. I found the shelf above bathroom sink unnecessary and in the way for task like washing my face. Some might think shower bit small. Air conditioning for me was too noisy on lowest setting and therefore at bedtime had to switch off. When I came back to room the aircon was always turned off so I had to tolerate the noise and time to get room to ideal temp.

On the road again.

This is a good value stopover type hotel.The rooms are clean and serviceable with a good shower.It is on a business estate but there is a great bakery next door and a very nice pub/tabac a short walk away.

Basic hotel but good for the price

Room was clean & linen & towels were laundered well & very white. Having stayed in a Kyriad before ( quite a few years ago) this one was probably the best. We had a lot of children stay there, so when we went down for breakfast the breakfast room was a mess. No tables wiped, it appears there may have only been one member of staff to do everything, she wouldn’t have had time to clean the tables.

I asked that my room be cleaned about halfway through my trip, but they didn't clean it as I expected. I thought that I'd be given a clean towel and that the bedding would be changed, but this wasn't the case. Also, some mornings the breakfast, that I paid extra for, was lacking in options...they seemed to run out of things. As well they take a really long time to respond to emails or don't respond at all.

Great location, very clean, excellent value for money.

We stayed here twice when stopping over on a ski trip - very convenient if heading to the Alpes and an excellent location in Arras - 10 mins from the Grand Place. We even managed to fit in a visit to the Canadian war memorial and the Wellington Tunnels. Exceptionally clean, great value for money.

No facilities in room but no surprise given the cheap price. Breakfast is basic but does the job!
