Great Location!

Very centrally located in the beautiful Grand Place square, our room was in the rear annex overlooking an inner courtyard, and so was very quiet. It was a spacious but plain room, although it did have some character with old wooden beams and a sloped ceiling. It was clean and had a comfortable king bed. A decent breakfast is offered, although seemed a bit pricey for what you get. Easy access to everything including the train station, which was about a 10 minute walk. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Lack of a towelbar in the bathroom. Bathroom had an awkward layout.

A beautiful old building with traditional decor and facilities. The location on the Grand Place was amazing and it was great to be in the centre of town. The staff were kind and helpful.

Good location

Tiny, tiny room. You had to walk sideways to get past the bed. Very claustrophobic. Toilet and sink were in separate areas of the room. The shower was like a cupboard

Convenient and comfortable stop en route to Calais and Le Shuttle next day.

Staff on Reception were helpful and, happily, carried our luggage upstairs. The room was on the 2nd floor - we were expecting ground floor - and the lift was out of order. They also arranged a reservation for us in a nice restaurant nearby on a very busy Saturday night. Small but comfortable room. Good breakfast.

Parking was very difficult as there was a large festival going on in the main square (normally a parking area) outside the hotel. We had to leave the car in a rather dark "dodgy" area about 10 minutes walk away and carry our (fortunately small) bags to the hotel. Check calendar for upcoming festival dates. We got the impression that Arras is a lively "party town"!

The rooms are dated, there is no air conditioning and the room we were in you couldn’t close the toilet door because of the curtain.

Great first stay of our holiday.

Great location with a nice view over the square. Elevator was very helpful to get up to the top floor, nice big room for the family. Staff were very helpful and friendly and gave us some pointers about where to go and what to see.

Breakfast was good, selection was somewhat limited. You could boil your own eggs, which was intriguing. Continental breakfast only, no English breakfast. The shower was a bit tricky to use without splashing out onto the floor, but the shower itself was very nice.

Room was very compact the toilet was located along a small passage next to the room door. The bathroom was located en suite, all very cramped We took the breakfast option which every morning was chaos, many food options were unavailable on a day by day basis!

There's no on-site secure parking for motorcycles, but you can park for free on the square right opposite the hotel, and the underground car park which is secure but expensive. Coffee OK could be better.

Great location and Arras is a beautiful town.

The location on Grand Place is excellent. The Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself, being in an old building, is a bit cramped but that's part of the charm.

The breakfasts were fine, but they were unable to deal with a full house on Saturday, and ran out of croissants and bread - an Amazonian woman who was there with her children and parents stood at the counter and simply took the entire batch, so everyone else had to wait 15 minutes for more.

Shabby: an establishment that feels like it's on its last legs

Fine location on the giant, elegant grand-Place in Arras

Reputedly housed in the oldest building in Arras, but nothing in the hotel decor reflects this. The pawky main door would embarrass a tradesman's entrance, while the reception desk is swathed in transparent plastic as if guests are unwanted intruders to be kept at beyond arm's length. Parking and access are a nightmare: car users are not welcome in central Arras.
