Perfect location to explore Arras and dine out. Good value for money

The accomodation was as presented. It was clean, comfortable and well appointed. the staff who checked us in were really helpful, even though language was a challenge for all. The accomodation was creative and comfortable. Plenty of restaurants to choose from around the town centre.
Access through a lively bar was not really inviting and, although the outlook from the rooms was great, because it is situated above a bar with neighbouring bars that all open late, it was very noisy with music that reverberated through the floors. Not exactly relaxing. Parking was a challenge. Granted, there is no access through the town square and it was market day, dragging large bags quite a distance was a challenge. Parking was free but a walk away.

Great character, superior location. Only problem was there was no elevator, although one of the employees took our luggage up to the second floor for us.
The lack of an elevator, but it didn’t turn out to be a problem.

The ground floor is a bar which attracts a youthful crowd who seem to like very loud bass-driven music. One night this went on until 1am! Our room was right above the bar.

A really nice room at the top of a historic house overlooking the square. Very comfortable bed and easy in and out process.
A shower would have been good but bath was fine, lovely bathroom. Top floor room would not be easy for people with mobility challenges. Tight and steep staircases.

The room was well-decorated and comfortable. The view over the square was lovely. The staff was friendly. Good value for money for such a central location.
The entry through the bar to get upstairs feels a bit dingy, and the stairs are quite steep and narrow. But once upstairs to the B&B floor, the vibe is completely different (in a positive way).

Amazing location, right in the middle of one of the two main squares. Surrounded by bars and restaurants

Property was ok. Good position
No stairs - an issue with heavy luggage. No room light in ceiling just a standing lamp. Adequate but certainly didn’t exceed expectations.

Breakfast was good
The lock on the room door failed and we were advised someone would come and repair it. Nobody came so had to chase the staff as we couldn’t lock the room door and go out. Eventually somebody appeared and repaired the lock.

Lovely room overlooking the main square in Arras. The secondary glazing works very well with noise insulation, although with the weather being warm we did need the windows open and therefore were woken early by the street cleaners and pub deliveries. Not a lot they can do about that other than installing air conditioning. Nice large shower and plenty of hot water. Comfortable bed. Nice to have a kettle and small fridge in the room and luckily we brought our own coffee as only one sachet of coffee each provided.
Location excellent with all the bars and restaurants literally on the doorstep.
Staff extremely friendly and helpful.

The junior suite was nicely decorated and comfortable.
The location was also great

It's literally in the old square in front of the town hall, it's in one of the buildings that you see bombed in the photos of Arras. It had everything we needed. Parking under the square close by worked fine, it turned out to be 1euro a night but we were worried it would be more.
It loses 2 stars for not being super clean. It was a bit a dusty (on the shelves, fridge etc), one of the glasses was also dirty and the towels were clean but we're super thin and worn out. So small things the host can improve to get to a 8/9! The entry is also a cocktail bar at the bottom which seemed a bit weird, but it's far so no noise.

We stayed for one might during a road trip, so we arrived late but they still showed us to our room. The location is incredibly good and the room (facing out to the square) is really well insulated. The bathroom was clean and spacious. Having AC was great.
There was a vibration/buzzing coming from somewhere during the night that made it difficult to fall asleep, but did not wake me after (I wear earplugs tho).

What a beautiful room in a beautiful square. Arras is an ideal town to visit whilst travelling through France. The room we stayed in was perfect and looked over the magnificent 'Place des Héros'. We spent a few hours roaming the town then enjoyed the eateries where we stayed. We only stayed one night, which was enough, but woke to an amazing market setting up right outside our window. Sadly we had to leave, but would have loved to stay and peruse the local wares - this was Saturday morning.
I like to be prepared with regards to local car parks, and this was trickier than you might imagine, but we found a great underground car park in the neighbouring 'Grand' Place'..... eventually.
The only other (slight) frustration was loud music being played by the bar below our room late into the night, however, the exceptionally comfy bed meant that we had an amazing night's sleep, regardless.

All of it. The view from the room, the outdoor terrace and the character of the place.
Nothing.

Place was quirky which we liked and very centrally located
Our room was on the first floor above the bar. The music was very disturbing until 1am when it was switched off. Sounds from the square outside are however fine due to double glazing (fine as there is AC). Unfortunately the sound from the bar travels vis the floorboards.

Amazing location, lovely and clean, air conditioning!
The stairs at the back were steep but you can’t get a city centre room without small stairs!

Lovely friendly and helpful welcome. The room had a wonderful view right over the Place des Heros. The room was comfortable and well appointed - as was the shower room. THe breakfast, whilst rather crammed into a small area at the back of the bar was tasty and there was sufficient choice for our needs (basic continental only; nothing cooked)
A net curtain at the window would have been good to feel that there was more privacy when the curtains and windows were opened. Not the owner's fault, but the Booking.com website only indicated that parking was available. Actually the available parking was at a fair distance from the hotel (in a fully pedestrianised area). We found a free 1 hour slot as near as we could and walked for 10 minutes to the hotel with our cases. Only then did the owner recommend the best parking with access to the free Citadine navette service for which the nearest stop was only a few minutes away just off the pedestrian area. If only we'd know about any of this beforehand, we might have arrived rather less hot and bothered.

the staff were very friendly. The rooms were immaculate and beds were super comfy. The breakfast was superb, A great central location for visiting Arras and lots of restaurants within a short walk. Value for money too!!

I liked the proximity to bars and resturants
Unfortunately any parking was some way away and there was live music right under our room from early Saturday night. We had travelled most of the day to get there and could not really rest until quite late. While there was a nice bar at the hotel it was closed early morning until about 11.30. We had to get someone to show us how to regulate the shower as it was so HOT we could not initially use it

The welcoming I received when I arrived was just a nice straight forward touch, the location is terrific located right where people gather and just celebrate life.
My room was brilliant, best bed I ever slept in in Europe, breakfast was nice, the staff were terrific, I had some meals there as well as some nice cold French beers!
Thank you
Nothing to dislike for me

The view from the room was beautiful. The manageress was lovely. Very helpful, especially as we don't speak French. She also carried my wife's suitcase up the stairs to the room.
The towels, when we arrived, were slightly damp. They were clean, but had probably been taken out of the dryer a bit early. Not a major problem - just worth mentioning I think.

A pitstop in Arras and the lodging bang in the middle of town so conveniently located for a quick visit albeit parking and the one way streets a little combative - spacious room just fine - simple breakfast

Air conditioning quality was poor. Lamp lighting only in bedroom and 2 lamps were not working.

The location was perfect, right in the middle of the town. I would say that if you are staying at the weekend and want somewhere quite then don't book this hotel, its very lively. If you check in late then be advised you need to check in at the Bar downstairs, which again is very lively at the weekend, its not the easiest to find, older people might find it too loud. Room was lovely, comfy and clean, staff were nice and breakfast was good.
hard to find as not much info on checking in if you arrive late.

We didn’t like that there was no real assistance at check in. You check in at a noisy, busy bar / cafe and are left to carry your own luggage up 3 flights of spiral stairs. Very steep. No service on day 2. The bathroom has no real shower, just a bathtub with hand held shower. Less that we expected. We were on the top floor / attic which is seriously challenged for space.

Centrally located
Arriving to a noisy bar that didn’t feel anything like a hotel. Bit disconcerting.
