Warm, personable and unique luxury

The establishment is beautiful and luxurious. The communication and service was warm & extremely personable. Breakfast is not to be skipped !!

There is no driving / parking right by the property but 5 mins away there are Excellent facilities organised by the hotel.

Highly recommended

Breakfast was amazing. From a delicious range of breads and intense local cheeses to fresh orange juice and superb coffee all exquisitly served at the table. A glass pot with granola, mango and passion fruit sauce, yoghurt and fresh fruit to start and eggs cooked to order. You could not want more but it was offered in abundance. Quiet despite central location. Very friendly hostess.

No tea making facility. Nespresso machine was good.

Superb! + Fab Breakfast!

We really enjoyed our 2 night, mid-week stay at this lovely, small hotel in Hasselt. Very comfortable, clean and large top-floor room situated on a quieter side-street near the Fruitmarkt; - close to cafes, restaurants, shops and visitor attractions. We made good use of the air-conditioning, which is easy to operate, efficient and relatively quiet. The breakfast is fabulous, with some nice variation on the second morning. Elisa, Pieter-Jan and the Team are friendly, welcoming, most helpful and attentive. The access/check-in arrangements etc. are clear and simple, made easy by good communications from the Team.

Very cozy, friendly and clean environment - worth choosing!

The room was very cozy, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very nice, with eco friendly products provided. Exceptional hospitality - I liked the notes left in the room with instructions and tourist suggestions. You feel that you have a personalized care in this hotel which I loved! Breakfast was also wonderful! Location perfect too - just in the city centre!

- As there is no elevator, it was a bit loud and uncomfortable hearing the guests climbing the stairs and talking especially during night and early morning hours. Just a suggestion: - The restaurant and place downstairs it is really lovely and I think it would be nice to be open during afternoon and night hours too.

Fantastic in every way

Great hosts, great room, great venue and probably the best breakfast we have ever had. The owners were friendly and helpful. We had a lovely stay and will recommend it to everyone. Thank you!

Amazing value for money, especially including location and breakfast

Very cute little hotel, at an excellent location minutes away from the city centre and railway station. Extremely kind and charming hosts. Breakfast is not buffet style but a set (yet changeable) menu, which is nutritious, delicious and plenty! We were a group of four and were never able to finish everything.

The only thing we didn't like was the bathroom in our 4-person bedroom. It did not have a shower but only a bathtub, which we found rather impractical in the morning. Other than that, this place is a steal and you should stay here!

Easy, comfortable stay with friendly hosts, relaxed atmosphere and modern amenities

The hotel location is pretty central to the town center and walking from the train station was no problem and took about 15 mins. I arrived late afternoon when none of the staff were around. The hosts had anticipated this and contacted me in advance to arrange key collection details which were easy to follow and worked without any problem. The room was modern and spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed and nice shower room. Overlooking a main street, the room was surprisingly quiet. The hotel itself is quite small and is a converted town house ( make sure to check the folder it’s the pictures of the renovation project). I didn’t see any of the other guests until breakfast time as there are limited common areas. Breakfast itself was really first class with a nice combination of bought-in and home-made products. The owners, Elke and Bart, we’re super attentive and very friendly. I would really recommend this hotel for short stays as it is very good value for money. I would certainly stay there again.

There wasn’t anything I would say I didn’t like about the property. Perhaps not everyone will be comfortable arriving when no staff are available and therefore letting themselves into the building when noon is around but it was really not a problem.

Cosy and very well located

cosy small size downtown hotel. Nice room, spacious and clean. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. They arranged an earlier breakfast on Sunday morning. we definitely recommend it and will go back when in Hasselt.

Location was spot on. Our hosts, Elke and Bart gave us a very warm and friendly welcome. Our room was spacious with everything one should need for a comfortable stay, Breakfast was superb!

Few details in the room could use a touch up, but that didn't bother us too much since the rest made up for it big time.

Very central place to stay in Hasselt

This is a lovely hotel and communication is very good! There is a lovely restaurant nearly called 'Lento', which we also loved. We loved that too. Hasselt is a small but lovely town.

No elevator which was a bit tough for my mum - but otherwise great.

The owners were very friendly people, really kind, and also professional in their job. Also the aesthetics of the hotel was great, even small details like the setting in the room and the serving of the breakfast were eye-catching!

L'accueil très sympathique, une chambre très agréable, un bel établissement ancien rénové avec goût, très calme et au centre de Hasselt. La jeune propriétaire parle bien français, elle est simple et sympathique; le petit déjeûner était excellent. Nous recommandons vivement l'endroit à celui qui souhaite simplicité, contact humain et design cocoon
