The people at the property were simply great. Very warm and helpful and made the experience at the Turtle Inn exceptional. Breakfast was great and brought to our room each day. We just wanted to relax to start our vacation and the Turtle Inn delivered!

Very professionally run , very relaxing and charming. Staff very friendly and helpful. We tried 3 different dining options and they were all excellent , as was lunch beachside . Poolside cottage with sea view just spot on.

Pure luxury - worth every penny

This was as good as it gets. Incredibly friendly and personable staff who wanted to go above and beyond at all times to be helpful without being overbearing or sycophantic (shout out to Jonny and Xavier in particular). The rooms were exquisitely decorated, spacious and comfortable. There were multiple swimming pools and direct access to the sea, free paddleboards, bikes, kayaks. The food was amazing albeit pricey, but it all fell into the luxury category that the Turtle Inn embodies. Pro tip - utilise the drinks happy hour each day from 4-6pm!

Paradise in Placencia.

The Turtle Inn is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at and I have traveled the world and stayed at some of the very best. From the insanely beautiful property, the above and beyond staff and amenities, to the most beautiful villa I’ve ever had the pleasure to stay in. The G.M. Martin left a handwritten note welcoming us next to a jar of home baked chocolate chip cookies. They bring you a complimentary cocktail to your room. The beds and bedding are luxurious and of the highest quality. The bathrooms and secluded indoor/outdoor showers are so lovely. There are fresh flowers and personal touches everywhere. The dinner we had at Mare restaurant was fresh and crazy delicious. The servers were so friendly and attentive. The swimming pools and beach front are some of the prettiest and most serene swimming I’ve had the pleasure to enjoy. The villas themselves are indescribably beautiful. The Turtle Inn truly is an escape to paradise as you’ve always imagined it could be. It over delivers. The Coppola’s and crew, especially their manager Martin and his kindness have created the perfect retreat from this harsh world. Treat yourself.

Perfect place for relaxing and resetting yourself! Feels a bit like Bali

The resort was great and the individual cottages are the perfect size to relax and enjoy the generous higher end space. The outdoor shower is the perfect way to stay cool at night before bed. Service was outstanding. Management knows exactly how to run and maintain a beautifully beach resort.

Not much to say here. But Booking.com could show more additional options that will be available. For example, booking optional outings/adventure with the resort are available to further enjoy the stay.

Paradise at its Finest

The staff - their exceptional service, their willingness to go above and beyond, and their genuine kindness easily seen as they try to remember every guest’s name. The property - the cottages and villas are private, comfortable, and accommodating; the garden which is home to the source of their amazing dishes; the pools that are big enough to hold multiple groups and the perfect temperature between hot and cold; and the location, smack dab between the ocean and the lagoon, a mile bike ride away from town.

That it’s ruined other ocean-front properties for me.

Exceptional property, staff and food!!

The attention to detail at Turtle Inn was exceptional. From the freshly baked cookies in the room to the turndown service in the evening. The outdoor shower was amazing. The staff was so helpful and friendly. A wonderful variety of meals and cocktails. Can’t wait to come back.

total relax with lodges to dream off

the lodges are the best u can imagine ( lay-out, space, bed quality, bathroom in and outdoor) in perfect balinese style, good kitchen and nice beach and pool area. bikes at your disposal and shuttle service to the village. engaged personal and family like atmosphere.

personnal is engaged but not always up the standard of the hotel.especially at the sea bar with a lot of personnel but no regular drinking water service, food tray stayed for 2 hours, found glass on the beach. training necessary. the coffee policy with 2 cupsules for a 5 day stay is rediculous. the manager of the hotel was very accomodating not charging us for the "excess".

Le petit déjeuner continental inclus : beaucoup trop sucré pour le matin : j ai eu beau expliquer que je ne mangeais pas de sucre le matin, j ai mis 3 jours avant de réussir à avoir des œufs et quelques tranches d avocat et j ai eu la désagréable surprise d être facturée à la fin Le bruit de la route juste derrière le cottage Pas de jolie plage ni eau turquoise au bord de l hôtel.

Chambres d'un luxe incroyable, mais environnement un peu décevant

Cabana de luxe, immense, dotée d'une très belle véranda d'où l'on aperçoit la mer, patio arrière avec douche extérieure, salle de bains magnifique, déco raffinée, literie grand confort : un vrai palais rien que pour nous ! Vastes espaces verdoyants parfaitement entretenus. Au restaurant principal, nous avons préféré le "Aunty Ludas" situé côté lagune, plus convivial, très sympa.

Le service est irrégulier : longue attente au petit-déjeuner, plusieurs oublis dans le ménage, pas de conseils personnalisés, lunch box à peine digne d'un fast-food... Quelle déception par rapport au Blancaneaux ! L'environnement est également plutôt décevant : la plage semble artificielle, une sorte de plateforme surélevée (on descend à la mer par un petit escalier). Le bruit des camions sur la route toute proche gâche le plaisir des réveils.
