Otium Maecenatis Apartments

Paola was very responsive and had someone waiting at the property to give us the keys and an overview of the area. The apartment was great- felt like a true Italian apartment. We slept 2 adults and 2 kids- all the beds were very comfortable and clean in a quiet area. There was a kitchen, stove, refrigerator, TV, blow dryer, clothes washer, iron and ironing board.

Enough space for us as a family of 6. All the kids had a bed in the same bedroom and we had our own room.

The bathroom was small but that’s the nature of Rome apartments

Wonderful location, really helpful and welcoming host. I loved it. Thank you

Very nice people, mother and daughter, but they seemed in a hurry to leave before we could think of any questions. After that we communicated via WhatsApp.

For two couples the unit isn’t great. The second bed is in the kitchen/studio and is small with an uncomfortable mattress. Luckily the location is good amd we were gone most of the day. But evening sleep was difficult for the couple in the small bed. Also very few supplies/amenities are provided—no bath soap or conditioner, limited toilet paper, no paper towels in the kitchen, minimal cooking supplies and dishes, no minimal staples. We had to depart rather early (10am) which wasn’t terrible until we found out there was no place to leave our bags even for a few hours. They referred us to an another establishment to pay for storage. They discouraged us from storing the bags at the train station. Not sure why except maybe their friends ran the other establishment. But we chose to go the the train station and there were lots of option and we didn’t have to walk back to the other place.
