The staff, especially Jessica, was very helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was good and very plentiful. Loved having the coffee maker and mini bar in the room. The room and whole inn were comfortable and decorated in a fun, quirky way. Great location for walking around town.

Unfortunately, air conditioning wasn’t available, so our room was too warm. However, I understand that this was dictated by government not allowing businesses to use AC in April. We were able to open the windows which helped. A note from the property prior to check-in with some details about parking would be helpful as the property is located within the restricted car section of the old town. One more thing, the instructions for the safe in our room didn’t work and we had to get help from the staff.

A beautiful historic building in the centre of Loches

The town car park was closed due to a fair over the weekend but we found parking close by.

i loved the building, wood everywhere, classical furniture etc. the position was good, close to all amenities.

mainly it was cold. the heating went off at 6pm and didn’t come on again till we left the next day. i tried adjusting the thermostat, but nothing!! i slept in the bathrobe all night. the junior suite had a sauna, sadly this smelt so bad we could use it or use the shower due to the smell. The sink didn’t have a functional plug, so it was impossible to fill the sink. the phone adapter was so old it wouldnt fit modern phones so you couldn’t play music. the bed whilst large and comfortable had poor quality pillows, like flat pancakes. small things that need addressing.The lounge area was nice but again cold. no fire lit and unwelcoming.
