Fantastic place to stay in Aosta

Great location and Elena was great. She checked in on my travel to Aosta and as I was arriving late, met me in front of the property. I was also able to leave my luggage after check out so I could do some running in the mountains!

Nothing - some street noise but I did stay on a Friday and when the windows were shut the noise went away.

This was the most amazing place! The location was perfect! It was right on the square and had a balcony overlooking the walking streets. Absolutely amazing! The owner was wonderful. Breakfast was traditional for the area. Couldn’t have been any better.

The owner was very helpful. When we couldn't find the place she came to the square and met us. She brought my sons warm croissants filled with Nutella for breakfast after they mentioned they loved Nutella. Entire apartment was immaculate and close to everything.

excellent all round

very clean, spacious, and has everything you need for an excellent stay. Elena is a lovely and very attentive host. The quadruple room with attached kitchenette is excellent for families.

The only thing is would suggest is to have closer fitting curtains or blind to reduce sunlight in the morning, but this is personal preference only.

The room exceeded our expectations. The location is exactly in the center, 6 minutes walk from Aosta bus station. The room was very clean and had all the essential amenities (Shampoo, hairdryer...). Breakfast was very delicious and abundant. Elena was very helpful and friendly. The experience was very positive and flexible.

Excellent and memorable stay

The hostess was excellent, very friendly, waited for me because I was hiking in. The breakfast was very good and she was very accommodating with requests. The room and bathroom was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Location was right in the centre of Aosta at the tourist sites and lots of restaurants close by

The best of the best.

Everything about Maison Boch is wonderful, especially the artistically gifted owner, Elena, who has created an exceptionally beautiful space that combines elements of woodland nature with true elegance. Everything in the large airy space is natural and all of it of the finest possible quality, with provisions for guest convenience and preference made throughout (I found four different types of pillow in the cupboard in my room) The cupboard door was heavy hand carved wood, more than 100 years old, while the lovely bedside lamps contained completely unobtrusive charging connections. The bathroom contained lush cotton towels and an assortment of uniquely scented, locally-produced botanical soaps and shampoos. My room had a large terrace which even in winter promised a restful retreat. Elena is also a gifted host, eager to welcome guests and share her knowledge of and enthusiasm for her beautiful city. When I arrived, she marked up a large map of the city for me with places to visit and to eat circled. In the morning, she had a huge assortment of traditional breakfast choices available but made for me a special "introduction" to the cheese and meat specialties of the Val d'Aosta region, all set out on a hand-carved wooden board and accompanied by delicious apple juice made fresh from a local variety. We talked about what I'd done the night before, about art, woodworking, and her growing collection of books from visiting writers. It was one of the most memorable meals I've had. The only bad thing about my stay was that it was for just one night. I loved Aosta and loved Maison Boch and its proprietor even more.

Enjoyable and comfy but might try somewhere else next time ...

Breakfast was amazing - it was brought to us at our selected time. The location is incredible and the beds were very comfy. The apartment has everything you would need to stay more than a few days self catering. There was a tv in each bedroom which was connected to the normal Netflix etc which was wonderful for the kids.

The water was quite cold in the shower after only a few minutes of the first person using it. The noise that walking makes is quite loud and we ended up asking the children to keep being quiet even though they were only walking gently around and playing. The apartment is quite tired in terms of decor. There is only a small sofa in the small living room for what could be a family of 5. There is no tv in the living room but there is one in each bedroom which was connected to the normal Netflix etc.

Fabulous and very welcoming

Maison Boch is on the main square. It is a special location, and if arriving by train as we were, it is a few blocks from the station and located in the very center of town. Our host, Elena, was so charming and helpful. The room was spacious and delightful and was very fresh with great linens, Breakfast was excellent and prepared just as we requested from her suggested options. Also, Elena made terrific recommendations for dinner the two nights we were in Aosta and several good suggestions about historical sites to visit. In sum, this was one of the best b & b experiences we have ever had; and Elena deserves our warmest and most sincere compliments and thanks for a great visit to Aosta.

Spacious apartment in the very center of Aosta. Clean and well equipped with thoroughly thought details such as bio instant coffee, natural local shampoo, milk and biscuits.

The only small hiccup could be the fact that there is no elevator so don’t bring too much stuff ;)
