Excellent location, right on sea front, excellent host providing plenty of information.

Lol, good luck getting a coffee anytime before lunch.....or felt that way....all the local coffee shops still in bed at 9am... Mind you same can be said for rest of UK on my trip...

It wasn’t worth the money I paid for the room.

The location was perfect and really close to all amenities.

The room was nice and clean, but the mattress wasn’t comfortable and the bathroom fan just wouldn’t turn off. Eventually it did at 1 am. It really affected my sleep as it was a constant noise.

Seafront hotel - convenient and clean

The room was clean, and had what we needed for our one-night stay. The location on the seafront was great, and I appreciated being able to park right outside of it. No breakfast at the hotel, but a limited few options very nearby that was good for us.

The room and bathroom were a little small, and it didn't face the sea (we knew that at booking though). There was a table and chairs in the room, which could have been replaced with more storage or simply more space.

Brilliant hotel

Spotlessly clean, spacious and within minutes of the restaurants, pubs & shops. Right on the promenade with sea view, and parking on site too.

I didn’t stay

I booked on line and paid. Arrived an hour later with a very poorly partner who I had to return home. I arrived and explained the situation asking for some consideration to be given to a refund or part repayment. A flat no was the reply. I understand that he had no reason to repay and said so, but a little more sympathy would have helped. When I got outside I looked back and appreciated the situation, but was glad I didn’t stay, as on reflection it looked tired.

Well Appointed Hotel on the Beachfront

We booked this hotel last minute for a weekend away to de-stress as it was well located opposite the beach and will definitely return. The rooms are well equipped and very clean. I would recommend a small fridge being put in all rooms, although there are some already allocated to suites and a community fridge available. Lovely couple soz, I can't remember your names, but well done on your achievements of renovating this beautiful Victorian Hotel

No bar or breakfast facilities although there are plenty of eateries about.

A good location for the seaside

The room and ensuite were very clean and comfortable. We were provided with a fan to help in the heatwave. The location was very central- next to the beach. The Receptionist was very helpful and friendly. Parking was easy

It’s not a hotel and it’s a very poor quality bed and breakfast without the breakfast

This place is stuck in the 1950s old tired and of very poor quality. It’s not a hotel it’s a bed and breakfast at best. Wouldn’t come here again ever

Friendliness and hygiene and better rooms and it’s just too old and it’s not a hotel and very bad parking and access. It’s a load of rubbish and I would advise against coming here

Perfect base to stay to travel out and about. Burnham on sea a lovely place.

On the seafront. Sea view window. Bathroom was lovely with a great shower. Big windows. Wardrobe and drawers. Clean and decorated well. Car parking space. Ideal base for the sea front and town.

Quite noisy at odd times of the night. Particularly a woman shouting. Could hear tvs from other rooms through the night.

I was put in a room unfortunately that allowed other guests to sit outside my window , also opposite me a few guests sat outside their room talking loudly till after 10:30. I had to higher the volume on the television and did not fall asleep till after 23:00. I had a very early start that day travelling from the north for 5 hours , had to go to a meeting at 19:00 in Burnham on sea town centre so was really tired and more than ready for bed. Don't understand why the guests had to sit outside their rooms , especially that late at night ,i also had to travel to Exeter the next morning then travel back home for 5 hours , so unfortunately the stay in the Clarence wasn't very enjoyable

The hotel was spotless, the rooms were comfortable; the pillows were out of this world! Great location; across the road from the pier and right on the sea front and a 5 minute walk from the centre. Hospitable staff who were always happy to help.

Noticed that on the wardrobe was a plug socket which the plastic to cover the wires actually was wobbly and could fall off and expose it and then the wardrobe was even stable enough!

Good location with friendly hosts but a bit 'tired'.

Good location, right on the sea front. Friendly welcome upon arrival. Lots of useful information provided by the hosts regarding places to eat etc. Wine glasses and other items available to use from reception. Two fans in our room as it was a very hot day - really helped and very much appreciated. The 'corridor' or veranda at the front of our room actually prevented the room from being ridiculously hot.

Room was tired. Bed wasn't overly comfortable. Ours was supposed to be a sea view room but there's a 'corridor' in front of the window so you couldn't see much at all from inside. Too hot to sit in the corridor/veranda to admire the view. Pricey considering the facilities.
