Wadi Rum Desert Base Camp

Our stay at Wadi Rum Desert Base Camp was truly unforgettable. From the very first moment, everything felt warm, genuine, and deeply authentic. I want to express my special thanks to Hillal and his wonderful Bedouin family for their incredible hospitality. They welcomed us not as guests, but as friends, and made us feel completely at home in the heart of the desert. The day we spent in Wadi Rum was absolutely magical - breathtaking landscapes, peaceful silence, and a unique atmosphere that cannot be described in words. Thanks to Hillal and his family, this experience became one of the most beautiful memories of our journey. If you are looking for a real desert experience, sincere people, and unforgettable emotions, I wholeheartedly recommend Wadi Rum Desert Base Camp.

I beduini ci hanno preso al meeting point in tarda serata, perché abbiamo ritardato a causa di problemi con la macchina a noleggio. Con estrema cordialità ci hanno portati nel campo beduino in mezzo al deserto, si vedeva un fantastico cielo stellato, perché non c’è affatto inquinamento luminoso. Subito a cena! Ci avevano aspettato, nonostante avessimo tardato. Cena tipica beduina a buffet, all’interno di una tenda adibita a spazio comune, seduti per terra sui tappeti tipici giordani (come abbiamo fatto noi), più l’opzione di stare comodamente seduti al tavolo. La camera spaziosa, letti grandi e comodi, non fa affatto freddo sotto le coperte durante la notte. Non aspettatevi il comfort di casa vostra però! È un’esperienza a tutti gli effetti! no tovaglie, no Internet! Non prenotate escursioni su altri siti, perché i beduini vi offriranno a poco prezzo tutto ciò che desiderate: dal trekking, alla gita in jeep a quella con il cammello! Per quanto riguarda quest’ultima vorrei ringraziare il piccolo Omar, che ci ha guidati per un’ora nel deserto “a bordo” dei cammelli. All’alba dei miei 24 anni (ho passato il compleanno lì) non posso che essere entusiasta di aver vissuto un’esperienza incredibile, circondata dall’amore del mio fidanzato e dall’amicizia e accoglienza preziosa offerta dai beduini. CONSIGLIO assolutamente!

Niente, tutto fantastico. Attenzione solo se si è aracnofobici, perché chiaramente nel deserto capita di trovare insetti (neanche uno presente nella tenda durante il nostro soggiorno).

Niesamowita przygoda, która uważam za najlepszą podczas mojego pobytu w Jordanii. Bardzo dobry kontakt z właścicielem, który doradzi i zorganizuje całość pobytu. Ludzie, których tam spotkaliśmy bardzo mili i kontaktowi, dzięki czemu czas tam spędzony mija w świetnej atmosferze. Bardzo dobre i smaczne śniadania, lunche na pustyni oraz kolacje w Campie. W ramach naszego pobytu skorzystaliśmy z wycieczki jeepem po pustyni oraz trekingu na Dżabal Umm ad Dami. Oprócz tego świetna lokalizacja, z dala od innych Campów, dzięki czemu w nocy jest niesamowita cisza i spokój. Polecam 🙂

Das Camp liegt abseits und bietet beste Wüstenblicke. Das Abendessen und Frühstück sind passable Büffets.

Achtung bei der Buchung der Touren. Am Eingang zu Wadi Rum hängen fixe Preise und die Zeitdauer dafür. Daran orientieren und Verhandlungen am Eingang führen, nicht im Jeep bei der Abholung. Die Zimmer sind tagsüber von der Sonne gewärmt, werden aber nachts extrem kalt. Mehrere Decken verlangen. Achtung: die Fotos der Glasiglus entsprechen NICHT den Standardzimmern
