I had a lovely stay in the heart of Wadi Rum. Really clean and affordable tents with all the facilities that you need, including air conditioning and hot water. The breakfast and dinner were included in the price. And the spread was really good. But the main part was the jeep tour and hospitality provided by the camp. They were really nice, especially Hussein, who took me on a sunset jeep tour for 4 hours...it was the best experience. He is a really amazing driver and knowledgeable guide who had so much to share.

The food was very frugal. What was particularly bad was the tour. Hussein, who was in charge of the tour, didn't give us much explanation, didn't help us with our photos at the points and just waited around in a daze. Above all, we did not get to see the sunrise because Hussein overslept and did not show up for the tour we had booked, which was recommended to us as a beautiful sunrise view. He showed up an hour later with no hard feelings and became grumpy when we scolded him. We then went on a two-hour tour, but he didn't get out of the car when we got to the point and didn't give us an explanation. We wanted to have fun and he ruined it. His driving skills were also poor, getting stuck in the desert. Also, the tour vehicle was terribly old and dirty and equipment was falling apart. We paid a high price, so he should be responsible. The desert itself was very beautiful and we are satisfied but would recommend other hotels.
