The Legacy of Wadi Rum

The place is situated behind the valley which is perfect because it blocks out the wind and it gets warm. I also love the toilet, despite being in the dessert they were able to provide toilet with bidet, shower, and sink!

The car used during the tour was old and dirty.

We had a brilliant 2-night stay at The Legacy of Wadi Rum. Unlike many of the larger, more commercial camps, this place feels much more personal and quiet. The tent was spotless and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. We were concerned about the desert chill at night, but the blankets provided were more than enough to keep us warm. The bathroom setup is quite unique and very clean, which we appreciated. Ahmed and Abdullah are fantastic hosts. They are clearly very proud of their culture and it shows in the way they look after their guests. The Jeep tour was excellent—very well-organised and we didn't feel like we were being rushed from one spot to the next like other groups we saw. Special mention to the food; the dinner was superb and plenty of it. Overall, a very honest and professional service. If you want a proper desert experience without the crowds, this is the place to book.

The tent was comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully prepared, allowing us to fully enjoy the magic of the desert night. The jeep tour was a highlight of our stay — well-paced, immersive, and filled with stunning natural sights. What made it special was not only the places we visited, but the stories, warmth, and deep connection to the land shared by our host. You can truly feel the respect for Bedouin traditions and the desert itself. The food was delicious and prepared with care, and the evening atmosphere around the fire was simple, authentic, and unforgettable. This experience went far beyond accommodation or a tour — it was a meaningful cultural encounter that we will carry with us for a long time.
