Poor sound isolation from downstairs

If you don't have fragile sleep, read not further. I changed the continents and due to jet lag, I asked in advance if it's possible to check in much later (my flight arrived 2h after midning + gettting to the place, as the key was left for me at a gas station) and check out later (after 1pm), as I'd need to get some sleep, and the host kindly agreed. I think I was the only guest in this guest house on that night. But in the morning someone opened the door to the corridor where my bedroom door was, and someone was repeatedly hitting something very loudly, also lots of noise from the downstairs kitchen, people shouting etc., altogether I got to sleep very little. The room furniture is outdated (maybe like 30y old style), but maybe that's not important. Poor sound isolation from downstairs.

Good location not far from Vilinus proper

The email confirmation gave wrong address for the keys. Spent over 1 hour on this eventually had to phone the hotel who then gave me the correct hotel address Beats me why they wanted me to collect the keys at a totally different place which no one had heard of. This despite asking locals who were also puzzled The 🛏️ bed's wooden head board was rather dangerous. It was very loose.probably still is. I asked for a glass of ice cubes to use for my juice.i was denied. Excuse was there was no ice in the hotel yet the kitchen was behind me at the reception. Very strange it was a very hot day! They should improve communications and wooden head boards Maybe put in a small fridge in rooms like other hotels do

the room was good - even have had a balcony. the sofa in the room definitely could be cleaner (or some sort of cover would help). stuff was excellent helpful and friendly. location itself is good (if you travel by car) - absolutely no problems with parking. the breakfast was excellent

Прекрасное спокойное место для отдыха перед долгим полетом. Номера очень простые, но есть все необходимое для короткого пребывания: гигиенические принадлежности, чайник, чай, кофе. Особенно хотелось бы отметить чистоту и очень комфортный матрас и подушки - это гораздо важнее стильной мебели. Очень приятная ухоженная территория с несколькими террасами, приятно была удивлена знакомству с двумя альпаками, которые здесь живут. А еще здесь очень вкусные завтраки и домашние обеды, обратила внимание, что многие приходят сюда обедать. И очень вежливый гостеприимный персонал, познакомилась с девушкой Настей и очень милой горничной. Спасибо за все!

Шум водопровода или бойлера. Я так и не поняла откуда доносились эти звуки.
