The house is simply charming, not too far from the Sherlock Holmes' statue. Our room was beautiful, with books on the shelves and a nice vanity. The large bathroom had a tub. Bed was very comfortable. It can get a little cold inside in the winter, but there are plenty of ways of staying warm (blankets, closed windows etc.). The B&B is full of helpful amenities, and we tried multiple whiskies as well! Plus, we met nice people staying in the other rooms.
No complaints whatsoever. Maybe eggs for breakfast could be nice :)

It was an amazing stay, John was very kind. The room was very nice, clean and spacious. Everything was very well taken care of. There was a cupboard in the hallway with anything you might need or had forgotten to take with you. Very handy and great service. We had an amazing time, thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at McRae’s Bed and Breakfast. It wasn’t far from the town centre, which made getting around really convenient. The owner was incredibly lovely and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The room was lovely and the bed was really comfy, with all the essentials thoughtfully provided. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, with such a great selection to choose from. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone visiting the area!
