Great appartment in the Oetz vally!

We had a lovely time in the appartment ! We were two adults and two teenagers and had a great time staying. We stayed in the two bedroom appartment which was very clean and convenient. the living room and kitchen are not large but just enough cooking dinner and making sandwichs in the morning. Frank, the owner, was super nice, friendly and helpfull. The house is located in a great place for making star trips in the area and the town center is 3 minutes drive, and has everything you need including supermarket, restaurants, sports shops, bank etc...

Only thing I would suggest to improve is the WIFI which which wasn't quite good and had intermitent internet connectivity.

Amazing location. Amazing few , and the owner is very responsive to any need. Easy to communicate with him.

We stayed for almost two weeks, and my expectations was that they will clean it at least one time during the staying. The next door apartment is very big, and during our stay, two groups of young people stayed there and they were quite noisy during the night.

Basic but cozy apartment overlooking the Oetz valley

The location is amazing - directly above the town of Oetz overlooking the valley and the summits on the other side. Even though it is directly on the road to Kühtai, it is really quiet place and you can reach Kühtai ski resort in 20 minutes by car or you can use skibus which has a stop in front of the house. Our one bedroom apartment was really cosy and clean with well equipped kitchenette. Nevertheless the cooker might use a repair or replacement since the control mechanism was a little worn out. The owners are really nice and helpfull. We appreciated the bins for separated trash and even a place for organic trash. And... we had the sauna just for ourselves - it was a pure luck that we were the only guests for the most of the nights, but it was perfect. The sauna has no rest room or shower - basically you do not need it since your apartement is a few steps away - but the sauna itself is quite spacious and it is not common for my 190 cm to be able to lay flat down in this type of sauna. ;-)

Our one bedroom apartment was not located in main building but right next to it in an extension above the ski room, sauna and woodshed - it is not a problem, the apartement was nice and had its own entrance. But this might not be nice surprise for someone since it can't be recognized from the information on Booking and from the photos as well (I figured it out before our arrival from the information e-mail sent by the accommodation). This external location might be a reason that the apartment is quite cold - even when the owner increased the heating when we asked, it still felt quite cold there. And I am a cold resistant person. The apartment was also very noisy, we were able to hear quite loudly every conversation from the courtyard of the building and surprisingly from inside of the main building as well - again, we were lucky that most of the nights, no other guests were there just the owners, so the nights were undisturbed. Overall it is a nice place for a fair price, with nice owners, but it might deserve little more care.
