The location was excellent, very close to Montpellier St Roch train station (2 mins walk) but also close to Place de la Comédie and the old town (15 mins walking distance to the old town). The room was basic but clean and the bed was comfortable and the air-conditioning worked perfectly. The staff were friendly, helpful, always around when needed and it was good value for money.
I didn't dislike it but if I was going again I probably wouldn't bother with the breakfast as you can get what you need from cafés and boulangeries nearby. Still, if you need to leave early it's a reasonable option (coffee, juice, pastries and/or bread with butter and jams -- the bread was good but I would think you could get better croissants or pains au chocolat from a nearby bakery).

Functional bathroom area.
Location is excellent for railway, main square, restaurants and bars.
Good working lift and a/c.
All staff friendly and helpful.
For the money, a shared toilet (although no occupancy issues) is a little outdated.
