We liked the mansion a lot and the hosts who were very friendly and providing guidance for touring around.

The mansion is very beautiful with nice garden and the rooms were well decorated reminding old times. Fulfilling breakfast served by the hosts. Beautiful traditional and peaceful village, very easy to find.

The nice couple rita and giannis are so warm and kind! This is one of the most beautiful and warm places that we were ever been. The food is cooked by the couple and its so tasty!

A quiet, comfortable stay in beautiful village close to the sites of Zagori but without the crowds

Porfyron is full of character, combined with great amenities. The guesthouse is a restored mansion with period touches, it has a very welcoming bar/lounge area and lots of outdoor seating in the garden, with great views down the valley. The hosts are friendly and helpful. We were travelling with our dog and were allocated a convenient ground floor room, which also had an excellent view.

I wasn't able to get a wifi signal but this was not a major issue for me as I was there to relax!

In vriendschappelijke verwend op hoog niveau

We werden in het bijzonder fraaie en gezellige hotel van Yannis en Staas enorm verwend met heerlijk ontbijt en 3 x verrukkelijk diner. Klassiek Grieks, maar zoals je het in de Griekse restaurants in Nederland niet krijgt. De gesprekken met Staas en zijn vader, voegde echt waarde toe aan ons verblijf. Staas, die half Nederlans is en beide talen spreekt,is echt trots op de griekse keuken en de mooie natuur. Hij had goede tips voor wandelingen. Dank jullie wel. Een verdiende 10!

מקום מתוק ויפה, מתאים בעיקר לזוגות או משפחה עם ילדים גדולים.

המקום יפיפה ומעוצב. רהיטי וינטאג׳ מטריפים ביופם. בניין שעבר שימור. יש חימום נעים ברחבי המלון. מצעים נהדרים וניקיון. בעלי המקום השתדלו מאוד עבורנו. ארוחת הבוקר טובה. לגבי ארוחות ערב: יש מעט אפשרויות לאכול בכפר עצמו (היינו בתחילת אוקטובר ורק מסעדה אחת הייתה פתוחה). בעלי המקום מציעים ארוחת ערב בהזמנה מראש. כדאי לעדכן אותם בבוקר של יום ההגעה. הגינה מקסימה, אבל ירד גשם ולא זכינו להנות ממנה.

החדר עצמו נראה מצוין בתמונות, אבל בפועל הוא צפוף מידי עבור משפחה בת 4 נפשות. בחדר יש גרם מדרגות לולייני ותלול שיורד לשירותים ולמקלחת. אמנם ידענו שיש גרם מדרגות, אבל הוא לא הופיע בתמונות והיה קשה להעריך עד כמה הוא לא מתאים/מסוכן עם תינוק/פעוט. אילתרנו חסימה בעזרת מיטת התינוק וחבל בהסכמת בעלי המלון, והסתדרנו. אני לא חושבת שזה חדר מתאים לשהייה עם פעוטות ותינוקות. כאשר אנחנו התארחנו, היו בעיקר זוגות מבוגרים. היינו המשפחה היחידה והרגשנו לא בנוח עם כל הרעש שעשינו (השתדלנו לשמור על השקט ובכל זאת).

Vakantie binnen een vakantie!

Je wordt helemaal in de watten gelegd door Rita. Superhost! Elke avond kan je aanschuiven voor een heerlijke maaltijd bereidt met lokale produkten door Giannis. Afgesloten met een glaasje huisgemaakte likeur. Fijne, warme en knusse kamer met breed en lekker bed. In de ochtend wordt het ontbijt voor je geserveerd met elke dag andere lekkernijen. Heerlijke uitvalbasis om de prachtige Zagori streek te ontdekken!

המלון בבית בן כ 170 שנה , יפהפה ומלא אופי, מוקף חצר יפה באוירה מקומית עם פינות ישיבה. מלון משפחתי מנוהל ומתופעל על ידי המשפחה - מסבירי פנים ונחמדים מאד, ארוחת בוקר מצוינת, אכלנו גם ארוחת ערב מעולה במלון שניתן להזמין בתיאום מראש.

- Εξαιρετική καθαριότητα σε όλους τους χώρους - Πολύ ευγενικοί και φιλόξενοι οικοδεσπότες - Υπέροχη και ήσυχη τοποθεσία - Το δωμάτιο ήταν προσεγμένο, άνετο και καλαίσθητο - Φανταστικό και ποιοτικό πρωινό με χειροποίητες επιλογές - Άψογη φιλοξενία!

- Η ηχομόνωση είναι περιορισμένη, κάτι αναμενόμενο σε παραδοσιακή κατασκευή – δεν μας ενόχλησε ιδιαίτερα, αλλά καλό να το γνωρίζει κανείς.

Très bon point de chute pour visiter Vikos.

Très bon emplacement pour visiter le parc de Vikos. Très bon conseils et personnel sympathique. Petit déjeuner et Dinner très bon et copieux. Si nous repassons dans cette région, nous reviendrons à Porfyron.

הגעתי עם קבוצה של שומרי כשרות, בעלי המלון היו מקסימים, עזרו להכשיר את המטבח, הכינו מראש תפריט לפי רשימת מצרכים מותרים ששלחתי, ויחד עם משגיחת הכשרות ערכו לנו סעודות אותנטיות משובחות. החדרים נעימים, בסגנון יווני עתיק, הרגשה של אירוח ביתי לכל דבר. כמובן שנחזור, אתם מקסימים.

שום דבר, פשוט מושלם, מתאים למי שמחפש חוויה אותנטית ומשפחתית. זה המקום.
