Tamaris Rooms

Everything was good, except that one conditioner for double family room wasn’t enough. Location was close to city center with car. Breakfast was also good.

Great hotel if arriving into Zadar airport. We used it for a one night stay as we were arriving late. Friendly check in and spacious rooms. Clean, good aircon and comfortable bed. Great breakfast in the morning. Would use again. (Maybe be hard for people with accessibility issues, as I don’t think there was a lift)

We had a wonderful stay at Tamaris Rooms. Before arrival, I requested a quiet room and was assigned room 211, which turned out to be the last room at the end of the corridor. It was exactly what I was hoping for: peaceful and away from any noise. One thing I really appreciated was the hotel's approach to minimizing food waste during breakfast. Instead of a large buffet, breakfast orders are personalized. Each person receives fresh fruits, a croissant (additional ones are available on request), jam, butter, and Nutella, with the main breakfast item prepared according to your order. It felt both thoughtful and sustainable. The staff were highly motivated, friendly, and always willing to help. A great example was when I discovered that the TV cable in our room was not working and I wanted to watch the World Cup final. The reception staff quickly found a live stream for me using the hotel's free WiFi, which was much appreciated. The restaurant deserves special praise. The beefsteak with pepper sauce was outstanding and is highly recommended. Another highlight was seeing a whole lamb being grilled over an open fire in a dedicated outdoor grilling room. It is available for order at around €60 per kilogram and looked absolutely fantastic. A very special thank you goes to Bashra and her husband from the housekeeping team. Every day our room was impeccably cleaned and all of our belongings were carefully arranged. They even created lovely towel figures and incorporated my daughter's toys into the displays. My daughter was genuinely excited to discover these little surprises every day. Small gestures also made a big difference. When I casually asked whether they had salted peanuts, I was instead given a complimentary bowl of walnuts and almonds, which was a very nice touch.

A few minor drawbacks: * There is no lift, which could be inconvenient for some guests. * The TV cable was not working during our stay. * The property is about 3 km from the city center. However, this was not an issue for us. My daughter enjoyed cycling and I don't mind walking. Driving is also an option, although finding free parking closer to the old town can sometimes be challenging.
