Lovely room, clean, comfortable bed and good bedding. Separate bathroom with a fantastic rain head shower, extra (fluffy white) towels and plenty of hot water. Good air conditioning in the bedroom. Very quiet even though it’s in the heart of the Old Town just off the People’s Square. Small terrace with a table and chairs for two.
The room is not serviced, which is fine but no cleaning materials are supplied. There is a fridge but no wine glasses only tumblers. No cutlery or plates. Nothing to wash up the mugs or tumblers.
The terrace overlooks a shady courtyard. Don’t expect to sit in the sun on the terrace and enjoy the view. It’s a residential area and therefore the neighbours use the area to hang out their laundry.

It is in a 2 bedroom flat (one room per floor), located right behind the central square in Zadar's old town, so fantastic location if you want to be in the heart of the old town, yet also very quiet. The room is very tastefully designed, not huge but mostly well appointed, lovely thick cotton sheets. It overlooks two courtyards, this also ensures that it is quite and a step back from the throbs of tourists outside. The bed itself is very comfortable, as is the shower (great pressure) and the air conditioning and internet work well. I did not meet the owner / any staff while there, we communicated via text at the beginning and the end of my stay.
I spent 6 days there. While well appointed overall, for anything beyond a couple days it needs a few more touches to be TRULY Luxury.
- A coffee machine would be welcomed, as would a couple plates, knives/forks or bowls if one wants to enjoy some fruit or a yoghurt (there is a boiler and some cups, and a fridge).
- The plugs in the bathroom are very hard to reach / impractical.
- Housekeeping is only once a week, whereas having someone check in every 3 days would probably be more suitable, at least to empty the bins, clear the shower drain (it is small and overflows easily if not cleaned regularly), and just do a quick check that nothing is needed.
My last remark concerns Zadar Old Town itself : town is VERY VERY touristy, so even if the room is quiet, the minute you step outside there are people everywhere in the charming, but very narrow streets.

Very central and easy to find. Comfortable apartment and nice bathroom. It is a good place from which to explore the old town. Owner was in contact to check we had accessed the apartment.
The balcony overlooked a yard and not pretty, although there were potted plants. Air con of local restaurant was a little noisy. Access lane was not lit by night.
