big disappointment, will remember it as one of the worst stays

hotel location , only

we had 2 studios for 5 nights, our rooms were in an old building and different from the reception building, and were not equipped with telephone!! so every time we had to speak to front desk we had to walk for almost 300 steps and change elevators in between !!! house keeping service is every three days!!!!!!! if you need otherwise you have to pay extra, this is the first time in my life I see a hotel with extra charge for house keeping certainly the worst wi-fi service I had in 15 years of travelling, you'd better have your data connection active in your phones if you're staying in this hotel, the price was extremely high comparing to the services offered, the studios were equipped differently in a very strange way, in terms of the bathrooms facilities, toilets, kitchen equipments at the end of the stay, after 5 nights of sufferings we asked for 1 hour more to check out, they said we will be charged, even for 1 hour!!! that's absolutely not a kind of good hospitality

Spa room is amazing. Nice bar inside the hotel, friendly staff. Compared to what I've paid for other hotel rooms in NL, really high quality facilities and well equipped room, furniture is elegant and clean.

We enjoyed our stay, the management listened to our points and promised to do better

The room was huge and steeped in the history of the Phillips building, a lovely balcony, wonderfull bed pillows and quilt. The staff are great. We will try it again as I am sure there will have been inprovements Directly in the town centre but not noisy

The staff are wonderful, but lack direction when it come to routine cleanibng, the cleanleness of the hotel in general was dissapointing, the elevator was dirty, the bathroom was not very clean, especially the toilet, the basin was loose and there were numerouse stains etc in the actual room

Nice stay

Nice hotel, good location and amenities, friendly staff :) the spa is a pleasant plus, flip flops and towels provided. The gym is small but good. In the room there's a coffee machine and a kettle, and a fridge. The bed is comfy! The table in the room is so big we even played board games on it. All is clean. Vanity set is also given which is nice. The location is comfortable to go to the city center, and if you're planning on going to Dynamo Metalfest it's a 30-40 minutes walk.

One of the machines in the gym needs some maintenance, that's about it though! Nothing major or to do with the room :)

I would love to stay here again - it was excellent.

The room was beautiful - clean, modern, spacious. The bed was so comfortable! Loved the shower and bathroom in general was really modern and stylish. The hotel is spacious and generally quiet even though it was busy - I didn't hear much noise from people outside the room. The staff were friendly, and very helpful.

I liked the breakfast but as someone with a fairly small appetite it was expensive for the amount I could eat. It was well made and delicious though!

I like the location and love the parts of hotel that’s been renovated. I like how there is a personal touch to your room, it’s a nice welcome. I liked the power of the shower. The room was spacious enough, clean and comfortable. It felt safe and private.

Comfortable with great facilities and service.

Room was clean and plenty of towels. The room was provided with water bottles and facilities to fill water up. Breakfast was included which was delicious and plenty to choose from. Staff were very helpful and attentive. The location is perfect to get out and about and only 5 mins from translation.

The seater area with table in the room has like a board. I feel this should be a mirror as there is no plugs near any other mirror in the rooms for doinf hair etc.

The room was like a sauna

Staff where nice, location was great, Room was clean and the bedding was comfortable. The rooms where also large.

The room was 24-25°c+ during my entire stay. Making it very uncomfortable to sleep. The fridge was empty & it didn't work to keep our water cold. When checking out I mentioned the air conditioning didn't work and I was told by reception that it didn't work in the entire hotel with zero concern for my comfort during the stay. But our friends also had rooms with working air-conditioning so this wasn't true.

Horrible service: slow, incompetent but worst of all the cleanliness of the room was unacceptable. On Fri through Sun foreget about the parking - it is always busy. Towels left on the bathroom floor? No problem! Pick 'em up when you are back in your room. Bed not made - make it yourself. It is probably the worst choice in Eindhoven. BTW - the place smells. And a funny one - at 2030hrs we went to the restaturant supposed to be opened till 2200hrs but they told us that the kitchen was already closed. Avoid!

Unprofessional receptionist

Location was good

the receptionist was very unprofessional and un welcoming behaviour was very obvious , her name was “Sanne”, she was of no help as we have big luggage’s and never explains how to get to our room without climbing the stairs. The breakfast also was not good and not worth the money, 2 staff only doing all the cooking, cleaning, registration, etc. the trays are empty and not refilled on time

Not really a 4 star hotel

Nice lobby and restaurant, nice food and drinks

Parking is not included, the rooms in the Philips Lichtplein building were not as nice as advertised, the sink drain was clogged, the bathroom fan was broken, some floor tiles were loose, many degradation marks in the rooms and corridors. Generally, the room had a bad vibe. Also, there was a small fridge that was not cooling at all, but that didn't mattere anyway, because there was nothing in there. Other normal items you would find in a 4 star hotel were missing as well: no soap (just shower gel), no slippers, no bottled water.

Location was great. 4-5mins walk from the station and right in the center of the city. The bedding was very comfortable to sleep on. Really loved the feel of the pillows.

Needs a bit of refurbishing in the rooms. Had a room that the wallpapers were coming off. And changed to another but the carpets were worn out (discoloured). I would also advise using ceramic dishes instead of paper. And incense in the bathroom to prevent musty smell.

Worth the money.

Hotel was in a perfect location for what we wanted. Near to town and small walk to Klokegbouw. Was nice decor, clean and worthy of the price we paid.

Room was very cold but reception brought up some small heaters so that fixed it after a while.

The service from reception was poor: I asked for an iron and after phoning 3 times to check where it was, it still didn't arrive so I had to go to work without ironing my shirt.

Mixed bag!

The staff were friendly and gave great service.

The room had broken furniture and a dirty, dusty chair- it is in need of a redecoration. The bathroom however was great- the shower was amazing!
