cockroaches in the room. Awaiting full refund as had to source another hotel for our engineer. There wasn't just one cockroach but lots all over room and bathroom. Pictures sent to hotel confirming this.

Location by the station.
The room was filthy, the corridors stunk of cannibis, there was black stuff in the shower that we kept washing away and it kept appearing even though we washed it away, to the point I didn't even use the shower. The room smelt grim. Lights didn't work. Ate our takeaway in the dark. Was just awful.

Easy location
Room was dirty and grubby taps in bathroom hadn’t been wiped, grass down the sink and bath plug, plug sockets were rotten, bed had hairs in, very run down, no hot water, fire alarms weren’t working properly, floor boards were mega creaky, doors slammed shut.

Nothing,
We didn't even enter the property. 5 people sat on the door step, drinking alcohol and seemed to be under the influence of drugs. It didn't even feel safe to walk my 6yo child in, he was terrified. Booking.com reviews are very different to the google reviews. Unacceptable. Not safe for family's with children.

The photos were not like it is now, didn’t even stay as they told us they had been shut down due to fire regulations! Did not contact us to say! The hotel did not look like the photos that are on the website, the car park looked like a car graveyard, looks like a drug den! Still trying to get refund

Everything there was damp my wife got a splinter off the bathroom door frame the safety latch on the window was ripped off so the window opens fully in my son could have fallen out of it the floorboards were loose and some were hollow so our foot sunk the door had about an inch from where the Yale look met the the door frame so someone pushed the door just slightly they would have been able to get in the room there was damp in the bathroom the light was all brown and nasty there was ripped bedding on the bed and the duvet had a hole in it.
In my opinion they should not allow families there as the main clientele for this hotel are the homeless and there was people shouting and being unsociable in front of the hotel there was smash windows in the bar area breakfast area so we couldn't use the facility the bathroom was disgusting there was missing panels behind the sink the pressure in the bath was awful it took about 20 minutes to run a bath that was lukewarm the TV was level on the wall and behind it wasn't painted no it's not a big thing but it is something when you're paying for a room the floorboards with that squeaky that I woke us up at night when people walking down the hallway and it smelled like smoking drugs and dirt
Again in my opinion I do not think this should be on booking.com I'm really disappointed that you guys are allowed us to book this hotel is definitely not suitable for families.

The building itself was beautiful. We had everything we needed in the room. The bathroom looked like it had recently been renovated. It was clean. The lady that checked us in was awesome! She was so friendly, helpful and very accommodating.
The squeaky floorboards, I expected them in an old building but for the two nights we were there I was woken up constantly by someone walking in the hallway. The room could have done with a spruce up. New curtains and some paint.

The staff were great . Our power went down & it was sorted out straight away . Luckily it was just the fuse that had tripped . We were offered another room if needed . Not far from Crewe . Tesco nearby .

The building was nice but very dated
The room was small, bathroom was falling apart the hot tap on the sink wasn’t connected so struggled turning it on & off, the bedding was dirty & had stains on it and the mattress needed changing as you sat on it alls you could feel was the springs. We had to leave after an hour and pay for another hotel as this was that bad!

The bedrooms were very basic bed were uncomfortable.

Helpful staff
Car park security - Vehicles abandoned, broken into and vandalized. Shady characters loitering in and around the car park, some on push bikes, others on something.... I relocated to avoid the possible aggravation of a damaged or stolen car. A stay without a vehicle might have been a bit easier.

I could not open the window a jar to let in some fresh air. It could only be opened like a door, which as it was onto a shared balcony which had steps to the ground meant anyone could climb into my room. I did not feel safe.

Everything. It was filthy, marks on walls, dirty towels. Bathroom had hair everywhere and wee in the toilet on arrival. I smelt of smoke. The window was hanging on by a bolt so could hear all traffic during the night. I could keep listing things. It was the worst room I've ever stayed in. I felt unsafe and dirty . Unfortunately we didn't arrive till 10pm so struggled to find anywhere else to stay. I would have slept in my car but the area felt unsafe. Absolutely awful

Staff were friendly and helpful, the room is adequate for what we needed a stop during a long drive for shower and a sleep. The price. The bed was fairly comfortable. The view from the room was a wall, which I honestly didn't mind at all.
My daughter commented on the walls being grubby and the floor being creaky and one of the towels had makeup or something on which wasn't from us. Normally I wouldn't be bothered by this because we literally just needed a place to shower and sleep and the price was a reflection of this. The cars and bikes driving down the road late at night revving their engines was a weird experience for us.

It was very dirty and stank

The room I had been given lacked some features, eg., there was no TV, though after querying this I was promptly assigned another room. The new room had all the expected facilities and was twice the size!
The hotel is located on a busy road and the room, albeit a fantastic size, is also by the road and, as it happens, quite a busy park. All in all a bit noisy though not so bad as to spoil the stay.
