Hotel Wiener Kindl

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Wiener Kindl. We stayed here three times on our vacation for a total of 5 nights. For us, the location was perfect as we have family staying nearby. The staff here are so very nice! Shout out to Noah who helped us with our car parking and ensured we parked in the right areas. Also for the conversations. All three rooms we were in - 11, 14 and 23, were spacious and bright. They had separate bathrooms and toilets, and a fan was available for our use. Much needed because that heatwave was something else! The courtyard downstairs is a nice place to relax at. I absolutely enjoyed my breakfasts here. I still think of their homemade pumpkin spread! You have to try it if you're staying here. There's a few restaurants and a bakery in the area, a couple of grocery stores, pharmacy and a tram stop about 300 meters from the hotel - Really convenient.

The pillows were too soft for our liking.

The property is very nice and cozy, it felt like home but in a vintage way. :) Everything was spotless: the room, the bathroom, the breakfast restaurant. We encountered few minor issues at our arrival (we were very tired after 11 hours flight and a little nervous) but even if the reception was closed (we entered by self check-in), the staff was one call away and helped us with everything we needed properly. Next morning after check-in they helped us with the parking spot (I can confirm that it’s 5 euros / day and you will receive all the information at the reception). Even if we were very tired and so on, after all, our experience was just AMAZING in Vienna. Best points to mention: - amazing staff and very helpful - self check-in - amazing breakfast with a lot of homemade foods - parking spot 5 euros/ day - the public transportation is near to the hotel (we recommend to buy a ticket with WienMobil app for all the days you stay in the city, it’s very convenient) Thank you so much! Breakfast was quite good, and that was the only high point of my experience in this hotel.

The pictures on the Booking profile were like a Tinder profile - all pimped up and raising your expectations, but in reality you are in for a disappointment. The hotel is old and so are the facilities, our room was not clean and the shower was clogged, so I was standing in my own travel filth. I expected more for that price and it wasn't even a weekend stay. Oh, and the garden - there is no garden if you ask me.
