Enjoyable stay, good working area in the bedrooms. Friendly staff and clean.
Breakfast was tasty and there were choices other than hot food-
The self serve area can get a little cramped at busy times. Maybe an extra toaster and an extra drink dispenser would help.
Minor things enjoyable breakfast and the stunning views, set you up for the day.
In the winter the restaurant dining area can be quite chilly.

Nice staff and nice food
Staff were amazing at breakfast service, dinner service, and bar service.
Food incredible
Grounds very nice
The room was extremely warm and very hard to sleep in both nights. Turned off the radiator the second night and it was still too warm to sleep in. Very unpleasant. Also pillows on bed are extremely high.....I like lower pillows but that is just my preference.
Staff at the front desk when we were checking in was very abrupt and not pleasant towards us. Made feel like a burden.

Very comfortable.
Very comfortable and beautiful hotel with fab gardens. Lovely room with bath as I requested.
I rang on morning of stay to see if I could have an early check in if my room was ready. Check in time was 4pm which is the latest I have had in any hotel, usually it’s 3pm. I was told by girl in reservations that I would need to pay an early check in fee! I was flabbergasted! If a room is ready early for a guest why would you charge them an early check in fee? Greed that’s why! I have had early check ins with other hotels where the room has been ready and never had a fee for it! Girl was quite off hand about it as well, which I thought a bit rude.

Coffee was too strong, so changed to tea which was good.

Glenview stay
As wr were with family for a wedding the area was nice and relaxing.
Rooms could do with a little upgrade although I booked through booking. Com for both rooms as it was for 4 people we had an extra young child with us and we had to pay a little more but we brought our own inflatable mattress.
The breakfast was ok ,pity the cooked breakfast wasn't buffet style as it would have looked a lot better .

A beautiful place
A wonderful hotel, with very comfortable rooms.
There was a wedding the night we stayed. Some consideration would be good for placing wedding guests separate too others. There was a lot of noise late at night from drunk wedding guests that woke up members of the group I was travelling with. I know the hotel cant be responsible for the actions of guests, however as the wedding was held on site perhaps not placing non wedding guests right near the function room could be considered in the future

Pleasant
Evening meal in 1st floor restaurant was of a high standard
Breakfast was disappointing. Limited choice of pastries. No gluten free options. Limited menu. Room decor was dated. Similarly en-suite that had a shower curtain over a bath. Very pricey for standard on offer

Satisfied customer
Very pleasant trip, liked the hotel and location .
Didn't like the cost of breakfast in dining room as I am unable to eat all that food, also soap dispensers in shower and at basin should be changed to something easier to use.

Very bad, never again! Very very overpriced
I think for one night €250 is very expensive especially when it didn’t even include breakfast, rooms are very very out dated so is the whole hotel , really musty smell and could do with an over all revamp, staff where nice tho
View of bins from our room, really outdated room and bathroom , stained walls , over all rough hotel , bad location and really expensive, food wasn’t good and the pool was so packed with kids, I booked a massage the therapist was great but the room was shocking, I was brought into a back room like a cubicle and it was freezing for my massage
4.0 / 10.0
Underwhelming for the price, except for the gardens.
The location was amazing, and the nature is absolutely gorgeous. 99% of the staff were incredibly lovely as well.
There was a rip in the curtain in my room. The room was very small for the price. The food was mediocre in the restaurant upstairs. The host mentioned they were fully booked out, yet the bar and restaurant were extremely quite. We were here for a special occasion, and we were looking forward to a buzz of the atmosphere. There was a small stain on the cover from flower petals being sat on (our own fault), but we noticed they flipped the duvet over to make it look like fresh sheets. We wouldn't have minded it being left as is, but the flip felt deceitful in a sense and on top of everything else, the mix of the experience was disappointing overall.
Charm and comfort combined. Nostalgia but with all the contemporary standards

Peace and Quiet at the Glenview Hotel
A nice out of the way place to stay for a night when visiting the Wicklow mountains. We did not make use of the Spa, but apparently they offer a wide variety of ways to pamper yourself. The place appears to be undergoing some type of updating to the building currently. There is a place to get a bite to eat there which is helpful as the nearest town, The Greystones, took a few minutes to ride into for a bite to eat along the shoreline. Room was clean and very comfortable. It's just south of Dublin and close to many places to visit. Would stay here again.
This was a last minute booking as we had a change in plans and loved it there. Do know that some rooms are described as mountain side or garden, may actually be on the backside of the hotel and is the pathway for employees moving items on trolleys and the view is right at the base of a scruffy hillside. Not exactly picturesque if that is what you were hoping for. If so, take adavantage of the many outdoor places they have arrange seating, the front of the hotel is very scenic.

Hidden Gem - Fantastic Food
Hidden gem, last minute decision for an overnight stay for mother and daughter. It was absolutely prefect. The food was exceptional, the cocktails are fantastic. The selection on the menu for lunch and dinner was brilliant. The staff are pleasant and very helpful. The leisure facilities are excellent. The walks and outdoor area are lovely and I’m sure would be during high season or for a party. I will definitely be back.
Comfortable bed.
Little dated interior but never judge book by its cover! The hair dryer could be upgraded and the plugs are scarce in the room. But that’s been picky.

A sleepless night, very disappointing experience.
The location of the hotel was scenic, beautiful and peaceful.
The hotel seemed to be a bit rundown, not what you’d expect at a 4 star hotel.
The bed we had, it was two single beds joined together and the mattresses kept sliding away from one another. The duvet was 2 singles joined together and seemed to have some sort of a peg keeping them together at the top. Very uncomfortable.
The place was very, very noisy. Doors were being slammed constantly throughout the hotel, there doesn’t seem to be a soft closing mechanism on these. There was no noise insulation between the room, we could hear the sound of another person peeing through throughout the night and snoring. It was very embarrassing to hear how many times the person went to bathroom throughout the night, they definitely need to see a doctor. Between the peeing, flushing, door being slammed and hearing that person snore all night long- we got no sleep at all.
No shower gel in the bathroom, no working hairdryer…
We mentioned these things to reception as we checked out, but we felt so sorry for the staff working there so we kept a brief, it’s not their fault.
What was meant to be a relaxing night, away from the kids to recharge our batteries turned out to be a sleepless night. I managed about 2 hours of sleep but my partner couldn’t fall asleep at all.
I had 2 coffees before setting off on the motorway going home. So disappointing.
