Very small rooms yet clean and comfortable

Excellelnt location, quiet square, lovely staff. Clean. Compfy bed.

Incredibly small room and shower. Breakfast was ok - no hot food. Definitely not worth the price. I think 60-70EUR a night would resemble the stay for the size of the room. We would stay again as it was comfortable and clean. Would not pay for the breakfast.

It was reasonably clean, well equipped and the staff helped us to park our car for free overnight. The location which I cannot say anything wrong, right in the center, walking distance to all amenities (if they are open) :)

The unexpected! Upon our arrival I had to seek for a bell, since the whole facility (restaurant, hotel, bar...) was closed. After walking around the building found a bell and waited approx. 10 - 15 minutes to start a conversation with a member of staff, who advised that the actual room price is a lot more. Ended up paying 8 times more than it was advertised on booking. :( When I asked the staff; But why you did not message or call to notify about? They replied: "aaahh, we did not expect, that you will turn up." - Well, not sure what to say... Of course, the question came from the reader; Why did not you just leave? We (with a 1 and 4 years old) were travelling 15 hours already. At that point, I have not had energy nor options to drive a single mile, so I paid for the price in cash (luckily I had enough money in cash) and got a nice (ish) room above the restraunt on the second floor.

The rooms were rather small and "old-fashioned". Initially the room of our children was in another building but fortunately they found a solution.

Bring your own bed sheets.

We got a double room, one king size bed with view to a square and another bed smaller in the back. Check-in was made late and we got to bed a bit late and there was no bed sheets. Barelly could move while sleeping cause the mattress protection. Worst is that ive taken a picture to show to the guy in the front desk in the morning, he said it was their bed sheet that ive taken picture. My girlfriend used to work in an hotel, in the morning she checked the bed at the back, and it had a normal bed sheet. I hate having a bad night sleep after paying €90 and beeing someone lying and smiling at my face not assuming its error. An "Im sorry" would have made it.

A fine fin de siècle hotel right in the centre of town with a warm, welcoming feel.

Centrally located in the Markt square of De Panne. Good quality restaurants all nearby. Supermarkets are easily available. Only a short 5 minute walk to the beach. The hosts are really kind and welcoming.

The single rooms are a little bit cramped, OK for one night or two but not for a long stay.

The family suite is not big but thoughtfully designed for comfort and style, sober and clean, warm and cozy. Feels roomier and nicer than on the pictures. The view to the market square is beautiful. Good breakfast, great croissants! Owner and staff kind and helpful. Free parking a short walk away. Outstanding value for a two-star place. Will be happy to come back.

L'endroit idéal pour passer quelques jours à la mer

L'accueil au top. Des petits conseils de la responsable lors de notre accueil pour activité. Le lendemain matin, je n'avais pas réservé de déjeuner. J'ai demandé à payer un café. Le Monsieur m'a gentiment proposé un café sans paiement et avec une très grande gentillesse. Ils sont tous au top et parle super bien Français.

Frühstück: man wurde Satt! Mehr abwechslung wäre angeraten!! Na ja Belg. Küste man fühlt sich immer übers Ohr gehauen!! Aber es muss ja verdient werden.

De kamer was smaakvol ingericht en proper . De kamermeisjes waren zeer vriendelijk en hulpvaardig dikke pluim voor hen. 😇

Eigenlijk geen , juist voor de mensen die rust zoeken ? In de zomer op de markt zijn er allerlei activiteiten, dus het kan vroeg en laat rumoerig zijn .

Unser Zimmer war geräumig, mit Blick auf den Marktplatz. Die Lage ist prima, um De Panne zu erkunden, auch wenn es nicht in Strandlage ist. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist super nett und hat uns z.B. gleich eine praktische Parkmöglichkeit empfohlen.

Eigentlich war alles prima. Bei einigen Sachen zeigt sich, dass das Gebäude alt ist, aber es wird gut in Schuss gehalten.
