St Paul House Boutique & Apartment

Very clean, big rooms, very close to metro and shopping stores. Olga was very helpful and answered all our questions immediately. White goods x3 for everyone, loads of pillows and extra blankets. Kitchen had everything. They welcomed us with a bottle of wine, risks and coffee capsules for the espresso machine. Lovely apartment to stay.

When you have a family or loads of people of which this apartment is for you need a washing machine. Although they did have they did not allow us to use it. Second thing most important their internet is too slow probably had a cheap deal we got disconnected all the time. We had to use our 4/5g’s all the time and lastly the doors were very rusty and make a lot of noise when closing and opening and that disrupted peoples sleep when one went to toilet or use the kitchen. A bit of WD40 would have helped that.

The host Olga expected us, helped us entering and explained everything. She was very kind and helpful. The size of the flat was perfect for us (4 adults, 3 kids). We loved the design of the flat. It was great to have a little coffee machine :) the flat was clean and there was everything we needed. The flat was on the first floor and there was an elevator. The location was perfect, in walking distance to the Colosseum and just a few minutes from the metro station.

Unfortunately, there was only one bathroom/toilet which was a bit problematic being 7 people :) but we knew that in advance.

I will not complain, because they went above and beyond to help us get set up, even leave our luggage early. It was a miscommunication, but it worked out great. There is a lovely park right in front of you. Great food/gelato short/safe feeling walk away. The subway spits you out right there (if you are brave enough to take the Metro now-a-days), it is difficult to figure out directions at first, but we made it. Bedding options are amazing for a larger group. We had the apartment- a large bedroom with a queen (very comfortable) and a pull out couch. Second bedroom with a queen. Then the kitchen has a queen pull out option. Kitchen was well equipped. And bathroom was cutsey.

If you are disturbed by noise, which I imagine is the case anywhere in the inner city area here is rough. The air could have been a little bit better, but it was cool at night so we opened the windows which had wonderful shutters. I think all European places have dark grout, in the bathrooms and the US version of CLEAN is not what you find in Europe, simply because they are all old buildings-but that is what makes it unusual and special. Get whatsapp! None of us had it, so we were delayed in contacting the lady over the check-in.s

Very good location, nice interior, Olga is super helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

For a larger group might be an issue that there is only one bathroom
