Very well placed for the Samaria Gorge. The owner is lovely, and made us very welcome, plus the food is beautiful (10/10). Facilities are basic, but it had what we needed, and is great value for money.
Towels were like sandpaper, and mattress a little hard. We would have liked to set off earlier to go up the gorge, but breakfast wasn’t until 8am.

I liked how welcoming mr Nektarios and the people working there were!
The pillows were horrible, there was a better one in the closet, but we saw it in the morning.

Breakfast was minimal compared with other properties in Crete.
It was basic, appropriate for a one night stay whilst hiking the gorge.
