Sweet Corner Masxali

The "far corner" of Agia Roumeli is also the "sweetest" for sure!!! The small, family-run hotel has a perfect beach, is surrounded by imposing rock, truly so authentic! The apartment was simple, but spacious, with 2 balconies (on different sides) which allowed for a natural flow of air so we could sleep with all windows open, with the crashing waves as our background music! We even had the delight of watching a female krikri from our balcony in the early morning... Small shower/bathroom, but functional. Breakfast and dinner (on the hotel balcony with sea view): super delicious, freshly made with perfect seasoning!!! Truly so mouth-watering that we came back a second day because we missed the fresh dolmadakia (our BEST ever in Greece!!!), the perfectly seasoned gemista, and the super tasty lamb stew!!! Perfect Greek coffee too, a free little bottle of Tsikoudia and sweet watermelon. For breakfast: choose the special omelette, yummy, delicious... WHAT A GEM!!! Literally everything is done straight from the heart, with love for this awe-inspiring area and with love for people!!! Thanks a million...

They were so friendly and lovely, and we got a pick up.

We had a quick turn around and This is located just slightly out of the village (about 3-400m) We had to do a couple of very hot walks up to it, it’s not far, but in the middle of the day I wished we were in the village more. If you know that’s the ca en you won’t be worried. It does go very access to a more private beach- and was very quiet. The only other thing is the back room was much stuffier than the front area. An air con unit in the back room woudl have been better
