Unique Victorian Home in Glasgow

The apartment is located in a pleasant area, beautiful buildings and we found it to be a quiet leafy area. The apartment is very spacious, with high ceilings and windows. Upon arrival we followed the thorough instructions sent from the host, which are easy to follow. There's plenty of provisions inside the apartment, such as cooking equipment a washing machine, toiletries etc. The apartment is nicely decorated with light colours, which makes it feel airy. The host was accomadating to a slight change with the booking as we added an extra guest a few weeks before our stay. The town is a very short walk away. It has plenty to offer from everyday groceries a fabulous bakery, cafes and restaurants all set within wonderful architecture.

The only down side was the parking. Spaces are limited so advance planning in regards to this is helpful.

Prime location, close to University of Glasgow and West End, restaurants, shops, subway….. Quiet street. Very clean and all details. Highly recommended

Location, spacious, quirky.

The location was good for access to Glasgow and the West End, the street was fairly quiet and near to local shops. The host was quick to reply to our query, when we arrived.

It’s difficult to write a fair review as we stayed during the Commonwealth Games when prices were a lot higher than they would normally be, so our expectations were perhaps higher. However, I’d say the overall feel was that this was more like a student accommodation, quality wise. The place was clean enough and nothing was particularly terrible. It was just a little tired, with a few cobwebs in the kitchen, the bedding wasn’t ironed and the sofa bed is super hard, so could do with a topper. It was also pretty cold when we arrived as the heating was turned off at the boiler. Nothing huge that couldn’t be fixed with a little attention to detail though.
