The Indus Valley - Downtown Leh

Beautiful traditional Ladakhi architecture with stunning wooden interiors giving a royal and cozy feel. Extremely spacious rooms with all required amenities and balconies offering breathtaking mountain views. Excellent hospitality by the entire staff, especially Balbeet, who took exceptional care of us throughout our stay. Delicious food at both restaurants — great Indian & Ladakhi cuisine on the ground floor and amazing Japanese food with mesmerizing rooftop views of Leh and the Himalayas. Peaceful and calm atmosphere, perfect for couples and relaxation. Excellent location close to Leh Market and the airport. Ample parking space and lovely outdoor sitting areas.

The pricing felt slightly on the higher side, although the overall experience was excellent. I feel the property could become even better by adding more facilities like a proper garden area, outdoor dining setup, gym, and a small play area for families and kids.

Right next to the leh market and buzzing life yet I. The peace with views of snow clouded mountain. Great place to stay. And very safe even for solo women traveller...

This property is located in a beautiful and scenic area. It is just a short distance from Leh Market, making it a convenient place to stay while enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

On the third day of my stay, I was pressured to move to another room. Initially, the staff told me that they were upgrading my room. However, I clearly explained that I did not want an upgrade and preferred to remain in my current room with my children. I also told them that moving all of our luggage and personal belongings in the middle of our stay would be inconvenient. Despite this, they continued to insist that I change rooms, which made the experience quite uncomfortable.
