Rinn Miyagawacho Tsubaki

Amazing place, very cute, with real japanise vibe. It is not big, but very smart planned, has everithing to think of. It is ideal for 4-5 people, as one bedroom has 2 beds and the other - only 3 futons. We were 6 people, so we used living room as a 3-rd bedroom. There is a small kitchenet with small dining place. It served wonderfully as a living room for us. It is very convenient that there is a private toilet on every floor. So, we have to share only the bath. The location is very good, plenty of eating places around, very quiet neighborhood , 10-15 min walk to the famouse tourist points at Gion quarter or Kawaramachi station, shopping streets and Nishiki market. Service and staff are fantastic! Every request of ours was fulfilled. We had additional coffee capsules, as we did not find it in shops. We left some clothes in the closet on the last day, then returned to the Rinn Kyoto station desk. They drived us to the matcha to pick up the clothes. I was really impressed with the service here.

There are 2 small points to think of: 1- took us some time to figure how to open/close the bathtub drain plug. Some sign near the button will help. The button located on the right on front of the bathtub. 2- two keys for 6 people are not enough. 3-4 will be better

Big enough for our family of 5 to spread out. Very clean and had everything we needed.

We absolutely loved our stay at Rinn Miyagawacho Tsubaki. The house was beautiful, comfortable and had a real sense of Kyoto. But what made the stay especially memorable was the location. The surrounding Gion area was wonderfully peaceful and atmospheric, with quiet streets, traditional buildings and a very special feeling, particularly in the early morning and evening. We also really appreciated the hospitality at check-in. After collecting the keys, our whole group was taken to the accommodation by taxi free of charge. After more than 24 hours of travelling, this was incredibly helpful and made our arrival much easier and more comfortable. It was one of those places where simply walking around the neighbourhood became part of the experience of visiting Kyoto. We would happily stay here again and would definitely recommend it.
