This was one of the LARGEST and best furnished rooms of our recent trip to Japan. The traditional bath in the room was lovely, and there was tons of space to organize our bags before leaving Japan. It's located near a 7-11 and next door is a craft brewery. I was blown away by the value for what we paid.
It was a little further from the train/subway stations than we would have liked. In summer, it made it harder to get around. Checking in was not as intuitive as it could have been. You have to check an email for a code to access the hotel before you even get in.

We had a triple room which was so spacious and beautifully decorated, including the bathroom. The location is about 15 mins from Kyoto station but it is easily connected to buses and a smaller station. Lovely and professional staff.
There isn’t an outdoor but the road is so quiet and there is a small river just outside the property which was so pretty, and you could sit by it and put your tired feet in the water.

Beautifully refined decoration, a peaceful atmosphere and great attention to every detail. The rooms are very comfortable, and the location is wonderful, in a charming neighbourhood alongside a small canal. But what really made our stay exceptional was the outstanding attention to guests: warm, thoughtful and genuinely five-star service.
