Stunning views !! Very family dwelling , everything you need !

You have to be of a certain fitness to get down to this place from your car. We stayed for a week and lugging cases up and down was a struggle to be honest. Our parents wouldn't have managed had we not been there to help ! All worth it when your settled though .

Stunning barn conversion in a beatiful part of the world - a real retreat.

Stunning barn conversion, easy walking distance from Hathersage but feels like being in the country side. The house is bright, spacious, comfortable, clean and with amazing views. The hosts left a lovely welcome pack on arrival.

It would have been useful to have a bit more detail on how to find it - instructions were for driving from Sheffiled only, and we were walking from the station at night, and it wasn't easily found on google maps. Other than that everything was perfect!

Pleasant barn conversion in the countryside

It was nicely secluded away from the noise of the main road, with really nice views of Hathersage and Peak District. The main living area was very bright, cosy, had lots of room with very comfortable sofas and a spacious kitchen and dining area. The beds were comfy with nice clean bathrooms. We were provided with lots of extra towels, teas coffees, snacks etc in the opposite outhouse which was of great help.

It was a little dark generally, being a barn conversion the windows are very small and doesn’t let much light in, especially in the dining area. Then with the windows being so small they are quite low also, so you have to duck to see views in the kitchen for example if you’re above 5ft 7. The area is nice but because it’s off a very busy road, the walk to and from the property becomes a bit of a trek, also with a very steep climb to come out of the property would be difficult for some people. The barn is secluded with a very high wall also, which hinders the view if you want to see anything when sitting down in the courtyard outside the property. The main guest bed was extremely creaky to the point where any movement was of an annoyance. There also wasn’t any curtains, which wasn’t a huge deal in a private place like this, but it would have helped to keep light out when needed.

A wonderful location and views across the valley. The Barn is down a slope and away from the road so very quiet.

No Instructions re appliances. This property would not suit anyone with mobility issues. No mention was said about this on your description.

Enjoyed our short break at the property and exploring the surrounding area.

Property had good secure, outdoor space, ideal as we had a dog with us. Owners had left some nice touches, tea/coffee, biscuits, milk and prosecco- all much appreciated.

Absolutely stunning location, beautiful barn conversion . Very comfortable. Lovely modern decor. Jaw dropping views.

A couple of tweaks and it would be absolutely perfect. Stiffer chicken wire under the top gate to make the field dog escape proof. Independent broadband as opposed to extending the farm WiFi.
