Great location, lovely walk to the beach. Shops really close by. Had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. Home from home. Lovely hamper on arrival which was really nice. Would stay again. Nice and quite area no noise from neighbouring properties.

I would absolutely say NOTHING! But I do have to mention the front door is very hard to open for an older person. My 6ft4 husband struggling with the height on the rooms upstairs but that’s an us problem and boy it gets really hot on a night. Possibly have some fans? But thats a weather problem nothing to do with the property.

Great location, clean and comfortable accommodation. A lovely welcome basket of treats and prosecco, and lots of useful information. We were very fortunate with the weather, so an outside space to enjoy a glass of wine was great. The property had a nice vibe to it, but was rather compact, however we really enjoyed our stay, thank you. Good value for money.

There was no shower (just a hairwash one over the bath, but you couldn't hook it up and there was no shower curtain) so we had to have baths. The front door doesn't open easily (sticks on the floor) and we read in the visitor book that it was reported in 2021, so should have been sorted. Not the best first imoression. The floor lamp in the lounge has very bright bulbs which made it uncomfortable to use, we suggest lower wattage bulbs. There was food left in the freezer and something nasty burnt on in the oven, so neither had been checked before we arrived, but the rest of the property was clean and tidy. Outside there are wall holders for plants, shame they were empty as a bit of colour would have brightened the area. Although there is space for 5 people to sleep, the dining table will only seat 4 (very snugly). I would say the property is great for 2-3 people but 5 would bimpression. The single bedroom is tiny with inadequate space, to be honest. Access to the drive is tight. We had 2 small cars and the just fitted on. There is a camera (I guess a security camera) covering the front of the property, but as we sat outside having a drink, my friend felt very uncomfortable in case we were being watched. We didn't use the TV or washing machine but it was good to know they were there. Also board games and films available. All in all, a lovely place, would definitely go back.

Wonderful care packaged was waiting for us at the property, the house was clean and everything was comfortable during our stay. Really lovely place to stay and easy to get into central Whitby from, and the local supermarket down the road is very useful.
