The location of the property is excellent, and the ameneties are fabulous too. You could easy stay a long time here and be very comfortable.
The hot tub is a great touch and lovely to relax in after a day hiking or whatever.
We were upgraded to maple cottage as another family only booked one day so we got the pleasure of the larger cottage. I would say looking back we might not have had enough room if we stayed in yew so im grateful that happened.
I didnt understand where the need for extra charges of £2.50 for a large towel for the hot tub comes from. I think the price that was paid wouldve been more than enough to cover a couple extra towels, + realistically what does such a small fee achieve, felt a bit like a mate telling you you owe them 10p more from a bill.
Wasnt a fan of supplied toilet paper, found it very rough and hard to flush.

Location was good, but hadn’t appreciated the hills up to it, we thought we could have walked into Bowness,but the uphill journey on the way back would have been too much. The twenty year olds with us did it but admitted it was tough going.
The cottage was great and the hot tub was an ideal way of relaxing. We had been told there would be tea, coffee etc to get us started, we had only expected a few but there was plenty, in fact couldn’t fault what was provided. Two parking spaces which was perfect, and being visited by mamma duck and her ducklings was an added bonus.

Very clean and well equipped. Beds comfortable and good quality linen. Bathrooms spotless.
The sofa was very tired and worn. Complimentary robes and slippers would have been a nice touch with the hot tub considering the price of our stay.
