Beautiful place. Conveniently located for day trips to D-Day beaches and, if you don't mind a little extra drive, Mont Saint Michal. Excellent staff, clean rooms, nice on-site restaurant. The hotel is in a peaceful setting but very accessible to Bayeux and the surronding area. Town of Bayeux was very charming...nice restaurants, great atmosphere, beautiful architect, etc. We initially reserved this hotel for one night but ended up staying an additional two nights.
There is no on-site work out facility. However, given the remote setting, it is very easy to get out for long walks/runs.

Beautiful chateau property, serene, country setting was peaceful. Loved all the foliage, the horses, sheep, and cows on property. Very good breakfast, the kind staff works everything from front desk to bar to restaurant. Enjoyed the spa, had excellent massages, pool and hot tub were also great. The restaurant is also excellent for dinner. We ate there three nights in a row.
I would suggest not to use the onsite washer and dryer as the dryer did not work. There is a laundromat in town that is convenient and simple to use.

Perfect location for exploring Normandy and then relaxing on the special chateau grounds. Our room was new and quite comfortable.
When it rained there wasn’t a place outside of the room to read.

The location is excellent - 5 minutes from Bayeux and easy access to the highway for other locations in the area, but you are in such a serene setting away from any noise. The entire property is meticulously maintained. Our room was large with a very comfortable bed and roomy bathroom. They have a lovely outdoor area for dining and the pool/hot tub/sauna area is very nice. We had a massage in the tree house which was completely relaxing. All of the staff were knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.
This is so tiny, I hate to mention it, but the bacon on the breakfast buffet was hardly cooked, looked raw, really. Everything else at breakfast was perfect.

The location of the property to the Normandy beaches and Bayeux was perfect. The dinner and breakfast were delicious.
Our room was huge and had everything you could think of included.
Everything was fantastic.

The location, the staff, and the grounds were amazing. We truly loved the spacious room plus the garden view.
I had mentioned this in another review that France overall is very environmental conscience. That means you can't completely control the room temperature. We woke up one early morning and it was freezing for us.

This beautiful old Manor has been restored beautifully in the countryside of Bayeaux. We felt pampered for the entire 13 hours we were there! Highly recommend!

Absolutely wonderful. Don’t miss it!
My husband and I travel a lot both for work and pleasure, so it’s a high barre when I say this is one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. The Chateau was built in 1733, and the newly renovated property combines exquisite historical details with every modern convenience you can imagine. The rooms are lovely and spacious, and the bed was heaven. We had a giant bathtub, which I loved, and a walk-in shower, which my husband loved. Huge windows looked out at the French countryside and meticulously landscaped property. The owners have thought of everything, from a place to lock up bikes, a free laundry area, a pool, spa, massage, walking paths, farm animals, and an exceptionally delicious restaurant and bar onsite. You really never need to leave, but if you want to explore Normandy (and you should) the jewel of a town of Bayeux is an easy bike ride away and a great launch for tours of the D Day landings, the famous Bayeux tapestry and excursions to Mont St Michelle. And of course, cider, cheese and all things Normandie. We extended our stay because we loved it so much, and cannot wait to return. Really, don’t miss this.
Nothing. We didn’t like leaving!

We liked the beautiful Chateau itself and the whole entire property. We loved walking about the property and seeing farm animals. We also appreciated the solitude of the property, and the nice breakfast each morning. It was clean, the staff was friendly and we would definitely stay again. Highly recommended this lovely place!

Nice building in spacious grounds, including a heated outdoor pool with sauna and hot tub. Barbecue style dinner with tasty food, which really suited many American guests who seem to like the option of 'seconds' and even 'thirds.'
Reasonably close to town but located in quiet countryside
Expensive, but not excessively. No lift as far as I could see, but we were just one floor up, so it wasn't an issue.

Beautiful, clean with lovely appointed grounds and rooms. Definitely feel like you are in the French countryside which most guests would truly appreciate.
The only issue was needing to drive into town rather than being able to walk. As long as you know this and plan for it it is a nonissue.
