The setting is absolutely stunning. It is one of the most beautiful places we stayed. The design is gorgeous inside. The tasteful wallpaper and furniture are beautifully done. Also, the restaurant has amazing food and the staff are friendly and helpful.
Our room had a sewer smell to it both nights. It was so strong we had to open the windows. The house was built in the 1700s, so we just figured it’s old. But, it was gross. Also, it runs out of hot water. Each day only one of us would get a hot shower. The other person would start out warm and end freezing cold. It didn’t matter if it was in the morning or evening.

Everything was perfect, but I especially appreciated the quality of the mattress of my bed and the tranquility of the establishment both of which were conducive to a great night of rest
I would have liked a bit more choice in wines available by the glass
