The apartment was directly across from Plaza Mayor and a fantastic location. Plaza del Sol Metro was a 5 minute walk away from the apartment. There was a washing machine, mid-sized refrigerator, a two-burner stove, and a decent sized microwave. There was also a tea kettle and a coffee pot. We appreciated all the appliances, but especially the washing machine. The host showed us how to work the washer, so we were able to do some mid-trip laundry! The elevator was small but worked just fine for us and our two small bags. We were on the first (second) floor, but with tired legs from sightseeing, we appreciated the elevator. The apartment was good sized and gave us enough room to relax and spread out a little. When we arrived it was very clean and the host was very helpful in getting us settled in and oriented. Despite being in right across from Plaza Mayor, the room was quiet as the windows did a great job keeping out the noise from the street. The AC system kept the apartment cool and comfortable. My wife appreciated the full-sized hair dryer and the large mirror. The shower was small but adequate and the large fluffy towels were appreciated. There were plenty of room for hang-ups in the closet and several drawers for us to use. There were plenty of places to walk to for food - including breakfast snacks with the Mercado a short distance away and many, many restaurants to choose from. One of the attached photos is of the front door of the apartment from Plaza Mayor through one of the access arches. Great location!

Water pressure in the shower was low, but adequate. The rest of the apartment had good water pressure.

La ubicación es inmejorable.

Los cubiertos no estaban bien limpios. Faltarían algunas cosas de la cocina, un jarro, tablas de corte, etc.

Me gustó mucho la ubicación y la anfitriona estaba siempre pendiente de cualquier cosa.

No me gustó que no se dejara una botellita de agua por si uno llegaba con sed. El colchón también era algo incómodo. Se hundía por el centro.
