Great location!

Great location, friendly staff.

Limited lighting options in room, either too bright or too dim. Broken coffee maker was not replaced. Available facilities not outlined during check-in.

A classy, historic building that welcomed us like family.

We had the most wonderful room- the former Bank manager’s office. Lucia and Diana checked is in with so much friendliness and fun. We had a tour of the Gold Bar, which was actually closed. We were made to feel really special.

Wonderful hotel in the best location in Den Haag

Fabulous location, very unique bank building. Wonderful breakfast room and food. Our breakfast was interrupted by the ceremony for the letters of credence of a new Ambassador at Palace Noordeinde. Very special! A great stay

Good location and pleasant rooms.

The hotel is well located and has spacious, comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. Cannot comment on breakfast as it was not included in the price. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I forgot my phone charger and they provided one for me for the duration of stay.

Nice location, but uncomfortable rooms.

It is a perfect location to hit different places in the city. Many attractions within walking distance. Good breakfast too.

We had a very uncomfortable bed, the mattress was rock solid and the pillows too, it felt more comfortable to sleep without any pillow at all. We complained at the reception and they changed our pillows and placed a topper on our mattress. But the bed remained uncomfortable and we woke up with stiff necks on the second day. We stayed in the corner room and they have a flag hanging in front of our windows. The flag waved with the wind and caused a constant clinking noise which made it difficult to sleep through the night (as if the mattress wasn’t already enough to keep us awake.). Besides that, the windows appeared to be of single glasses which made the room temperature unpleasant (cold) as there was a constant draft. The poor isolation also meant our room was filled with noise from the sounds on the street. Finally, the doors of the bathroom were made of glass, providing a view of the occupants inside. I mean, I don’t know why hotels do that, I don’t know anyone who takes pleasure in using the toilet while their room companions watch as they do their “business”….

The bathroom was excellent, with plenty of toiletries.Breakfast was good (I didn't have a cooked breakfast). The hotel had loads of character.

No shower cap in the bathroom and the bedroom should have had more drawers.

The location and decoration of the hotel is pretty nice. Also, the staff understood your necessity to make early check in and maked it possible. Further, we stayed in the hotel for celebrate your marriage and the hotel provided us a bottle of champagne, a lovely card and flowers in the bed. The breakfast is pretty nice with many options.

We stayed in a room with 2 floors, however, the air system didn't attend the second flor very well. For this reason, we woke up in the middle of the night sweating. Further, the pretty bar (which close at midnight) were close at 22:30 because they were not many clients to attend, in this sense, we couldn't enjoy it.

Brilliant cocation, opposite the King's Palace, 10mins walk to Mauritzhuis, near tram station, Quirky hotel, good breakfast, bar and restaurant, very friendly staff

Solo traveller, using an electric wheelchair and choose hotel for its adapted bathroom and wheelchair accessibility. The lift I had to used was the service lift at the back of the hotel and the disabled toilet for restaurant and bar is in the laundry cellar. The room itself was smallish, I couldn't use the wheelchair around the bed as the other side would have been easier for me to transfer from wheelchair onto the bed. The bathroom was small, very steep gradient from the room and there was no grabrail in the shower which made it difficult to transfer onto the bath chair.

Very central, good value for money

Very central location close to everything. The room and facilities in general - awesome, the historical bank's atmosphere is well preserved. Very polite and helpful reception. Definitely recommend this hotel.

The breakfast could have been slightly better. Should have received better instructions for the parking (Q-Park Noordeinde): you have to order parking online in order to enable the multi-entrance option!

they didn’t clean room in time despite of notification on door,came to clean up the room at 17.00(!) when I tried to relax in non made up room.Even when it was “cleaned” trash bin in toilet was not empty.Room was smaller than how it was shown in Booking com and locates on ground floor of most crowded and noisy area of city.

A good hotel with a very friendly reception team.

Convenient location in the centre of town. The receptionist was very kind and considerate and moved our room to a lower floor. Comfortable bed and a coffee machine.

The room decor was generally a bit dark and gloomy for us and the space a bit restrictive with two small suitcases. What we could choose from the hot breakfast menu was not explained to us properly. The shower head was not working properly - needed cleaning.

Excellent breakfast... Buffet as well as a la carte menu. The a la carte menu was even included in the breakfast prices. Simple but good. Atmosphere was great since lots of the old characteristics of the old building (former Dutch national bank) were still present.

Due to the nature of the building it was a bit chilly near the windows. I guess this is because they are not allowed to insulate the windows since the building has historical value. There were additional portable heaters available on our room. In the restaurant this was not the case so during our stay,as it was chilly outside, you could feel the same inside a bit as well.
